3rd unidentified object shot down, this time over Canada - P17

Maybe it would be better if China or Russia became the world’s police force instead. I’m sure those two nations would embrace the liberal and democratic standards the West has become accustomed to …

    7 | Joao Cancelo - 2022/23 Performances

The problem with Cancelo is that he is a form player who either blows hot or cold. He’s not the type to give consistent 7/10 performances. He’s either an 8/10 or a 3/10. Unfortunately for us, most of this season he’s been shite and based on that he won’t be a real loss for us. However, if we...

Premier League Games 21/22/23 Jan '23

Fair play to Arsenal, they’re a fantastic side who attack with proper pace and purpose. They will take some stopping.

    Jude Bellingham

I loved the line recently about Liverpool promising Bellingham that he can be the next Gerrard. I personally think they’d have been better off saying he can be the new ‘Henderson’, who has captained Liverpool to better honours than St Steven of Merseyside.

    Spurs (H) | PL | Post-Match Thread

That second half performance from Mahrez was as good as any I’ve seen from an individual at the Etihad.

Can’t help but feel that us slowing the game down is only going to benefit Spurs.

Match Thread | Man City vs Spurs (19/01/23)

Arsenal must be wanking themselves silly if we’re their closest challengers this season. To be fair, with the standards this team has set a dip in form was inevitable. However, this soft as shit underbelly of the side is a huge worry. What happened against Madrid should have been a one off...

    Ref Watch

I still don’t understand why the linesman’s flag did not go up straight away. I know they get told not to flag in tight decisions but Rashford was a good 3 yards offside and clearly ran towards the ball. Funny how the same official had no issue flagging offside for Foden in the first half...

    20 | Bernardo Silva - 2022/23 Performances

He’s playing like the fat kid during 5-a-side who stands in his own half doing step overs when no opposition player is near him. He slows everything down and loves to take 5/6 touches when 1/2 will suffice.

    Pep Guardiola - 2022/23

This side has been the definition of consistency over the past 5 years, a drop in form was always inevitable. Factor in the WC, fixture congestion and the tough set of fixtures we’ve had then our form shouldn’t really surprise anyone. I do think we need to take more risks as a side though. 1...

    Ref Watch

I think the lawmakers have turned a relatively simple rule into something completely baffling. Watching the clip of the Liverpool game on here already shows the inconsistency of decisions within an hour of each other. Anyone who has ever kicked a ball knows there are more ways to interfere...

    Ref Watch

Didn’t Fernandinho once give a penalty away in the CL for fouling an offside player before he touched the ball?

    Ref Watch

Let’s see consistency then. By this logic, no linesman should ever raise his flag ever again until the ball is physically touched by the offside player. This could take time wasting to a whole new level. I won’t hold my breathe for consistency though.

He flagged after the goal. He should have flagged the moment Rashford sprinted towards the ball.

    Ref Watch

I couldn’t disagree more. The moment Rashford goes towards the ball he is impacting the decision making of our defenders and goalkeeper. I mean his run gets him within 30 cm of the ball, he practically shields it towards Fernandes. How a linesman doesn’t flag for a player who is three yards...

    VAR thread 2022/23

Football needs VAR but when applied properly, it limits the referees influence on the outcome of games. So they’ve come up with this shite hybrid system where VAR is used to justify whatever shite outcome the refs want.

Match Thread | Man United vs Man City (14/01/23)

How the fuck can you run towards the ball and not be interfering with play.

Match Thread | Man United vs Man City (14/01/23)

We do look rather toothless away from home at the moment. I feel that our players have been conditioned for a safety first approach at all times. The runs are there, both KDB and Haaland have made some fantastic runs but Bernardo, Walker and Cancelo seem reluctant to make the pass.

    10 | Jack Grealish - 2022/23 Performances

I think Grealish and Philips are both good PL players and are useful squad players for us. The reality is that both players were playing for lower half PL clubs in their mid-20s with zero experience of European football. They were never going to take us to the next level. They are the signings...

    It's Quiet 17 - Glory Thread

Only Pep can have 5 CBs at his disposal and still play Walker as a CB.
