    10 | Jack Grealish - 2022/23 Performances

I thought at the time that the KDB bursting into space down the left for our goal was a shite comparison to make. We were on the counter attack and KDB had acres of space to run into. Completely different to Grealish receiving it out wide with two Leeds players closing him down. If you look...

    10 | Jack Grealish - 2022/23 Performances

For me the manner of Jack’s first half performance makes his second half showing even more impressive. You could see after his late miss in the first half that he was visibly frustrated. He’s yet to hit top form with us, had a hostile crowd on his back and was getting kicked all over the pitch...

    10 | Jack Grealish - 2022/23 Performances

Didn’t you just claim that you could have provided the assists Grealish did last night? The only way your posts could be considered level headed is if they were posted on a Birmingham City forum.

Match Thread | Leeds vs Man City (28/12/22)

Dominant first half performance. I don’t think Leeds have had a single chance and we really should be at least 3-0 up. Haaland and Grealish have been particularly wasteful.

Liverpool fans throwing missiles from South Stand Level 3

It’s interesting how ignoring local rivals, the only clubs you have an issue with is the ones who have been far more successful than you over the past 30 years. Maybe the fact your club thinks it has a divine right to win something might play a role in the tensions.

Liverpool fans throwing missiles from South Stand Level 3

Until both clubs get a grip of the media reporting on the current tensions then no amount of jointly worded statements will deescalate the current climate. The media are gaslighting cunts who want to push narratives that stoke the tensions. The sad thing is that they’ve succeeded. It seems more...

Match Thread | Man City vs Liverpool Carabao (22/12/22)

I’m surprised how well we’ve hit the ground running. I was expecting the side to be more lethargic than this. We’ve played some really good football against a top side. Palmer, aside from his miss, has been excellent as has Lewis. The only irritation is the fact that these dominant...

What’s that old saying about certainties in life? Death, taxes and City failing to put Liverpool to the sword.

Is Messi Now Officially the Greatest Footballer in History?

The Champions League is the biggest tournament in club football. It’s the most watched and the trophy most players dream about. On that logic I don’t think you can put KDB or David Silva above Darren Fletcher at all.

    England v Senegal - Sun 4th Dec, 19:00 | Round of 16 | World Cup 2022

Bellingham rightly being praised for that first half performance. He’s a top talent. I also think Phil’s had a good game as well. His one touch passing has repeatedly broke the Senegal lines and played a role in both the goals.

    Brentford (H) | Post-Match Thread

I get that and agree with you. I just don’t think a packed well-drilled defence should be called anti-football. If a team turns up and does nothing but defend, then fair enough. But Brentford was better than us in both a defensive and attacking sense today.

    Brentford (H) | Post-Match Thread

Think it’s unfair to call them anti-football. They had a game plan which worked and they had some moments of proper quality in the game. I’d argue that our boring, slow and sideways passing is more anti-football than what Brentford produced today.

    25 | Manuel Akanji - 2022/23 Performances

Not sure, you’d have to ask Pep. I don’t think he won a single header or second ball today though.

Stop the overlapping run to the byline and you stop City from creating from open play. We either rely on moments of individual brilliance to score or score via set pieces.

    Brentford (H) | Post-Match Thread

I think that’s harsh on Eddie who stopped us from being embarrassed today. The interesting thing is that we struggle to create clear chances from open play whenever teams stop our overlapping run to the byline.

A bad day at the office really. Ederson aside, I don’t think there is another positive to take from that performance. We haven’t really played well since beating United and I don’t think it’s a coincidence that it’s since Walker has been out injured.

    25 | Manuel Akanji - 2022/23 Performances

He’d be one of the best defenders in the world if heading was banned from the game. Guy is utter wank competing for headers.
