I think it's Micah's banter and character shining through. The dressing room must be full of it. It can come across badly now he's a professional pundit.

Well done Souness for calling it out after the game. Didn't expect that.

Iffy Scam on horse racing in progess

PS, on thread, I remember this happening when I was gambling 2-3 years ago. First 2 won at ridiculous odds and the last lost. I think the smart ones cashed out, which keeps the bookies happy as they rake it on the final leg.

Iffy Scam on horse racing in progess

Bookies are some of the most corrupt scumbags on this planet. I used to gamble a lot, and as soon as I started winning, they shut down my accounts. They didn't close them completely, just withdrew all promotional offers (upgrading odds to SP) and restricted my bets to 50p. No explanation, no...

    Political relations between UK-EU

Absolutely. I think that's the whole point. No barriers means a slow rebalance across the superstate. Shows the selfish side of Brexit, because it accepts that the future of the UK is a rebalance of funds elsewhere.

    Political relations between UK-EU

Delays, custom charges & admin, port fees. When they moved out to Eastern Europe it was to take advantage of cheap labour. Now wage inflation outstrips the UK, so it's long been considered and this was the final nail.

    Political relations between UK-EU

As I’ve said earlier in the thread, I’m close to a business that’s moving manufacturing back to the UK from Eastern Europe (moved there 15 years ago for cheap labour at the cost of numerous redundancies in the UK). I don’t imagine there’s a net benefit but some of this will even out. A lot of...

    Political relations between UK-EU

Absolutely Bob.. I'm astounded by the sense in our response. I was sure Boris would start sword waving. I'm not a fan of this government, but they've done well with vaccinations. They must know the EU is only hurting itself by its antics and doesn't need any spin from our side.

Best 6pm kick off of the season. What an entertaining match for 70 minutes or so. Incredulous that no goals went in!

    Best diver?

This is a big bug-bear of mine. If it's not your throw in or free kick then back the fuck up and let the other team get on with it. The sad thing is because there's no punishment, it's then seen as you need to do it. It's such an easy one to fix also.

I know, I'm sure after the game she said we won 2-0 despite man city trying their best. Clueless.

I think having everyone (including his teammates) feeling that awkward embarrassment is enough punishment.

You can see yet again what a quality player Fernandinho is, even at 35. Rodri isn't a fitting replacement as yet. Amazing game, well played City you've done us proud in the last 2 games. Onwards and upwards blues.
