    5 | John Stones - 2024/25

He deserves some love today too. On the ball, he was absolutely brilliant today, both with his long range passes but also just whizzing past the opponents, before playing it forward.

    8 | Mateo Kovačić - 2024/25

This type of game suits him, where the opponent presses high, and he can just bypass and dribble through it easily.

Attending my first ever City game on 26th Oct

Similar to what I was saying to @Tarzan41 and his mates after the game. :) I really had a blast and once more thanks for having me for a few pints before and after the game. It made the whole experience way more wholesome.

Enjoying my third beer outside in the sun at the Cask. Thanks for the recommendation ☺️

Doesn't then Liverpool South Parkway make more sense? That is nearer to the airport, and it's one stop before Lime St station.

And managed to buy my ticket for Sunday back to Budapest from Liverpool. What is the best way to get to Liverpool airport from Piccadilly? Northern Rail / East Midlands Rail and then bus, as Google suggests? Northern Railway says there might be changes due to construction sites anyway...

I actually booked a Stay Inn in Stockport. I love to walk anyway, so I might just do that on a matchday too, as I'd explore the city (or a pub or two) a little on my way anyway and only use public transport on Sunday. And I'm afraid I really need to visit the library now, as the internet says...

Attending my first ever City game on 26th Oct

So, the 3-day prior subscription thingy with Wizzair worked and now I should be in Birmingham on Friday early. Now I have to figure myself out a 2 day accomodation somewhere in the area, that is not a total rip off. :) Should be easy for the weekend, by the sounds of it... As for train, it...

Attending my first ever City game on 26th Oct

Quick heads up: you lot made me convince to go to the National Football Museum on Friday, and looking at the pub, I could then just have a walk in the park and check the Cathedral and/or some nearby pub. Someone mentioned the Sinclair Oyster bar, which based on the reviews, is quite a polarizing...

Thanks a lot, the connections (and perhaps tickets) is definitely something I will study over the weekend and would likely arrange it asap.

Haha, no. Neither do I own a shirt, nor a bike (only a cheap shit towel with the logo that I got from someone).

That doesn't sound half as shit as you think it does. I'd still have a great time if all of this happens. :)

After reading the reactions to those suggestions, I figured something is sketchy. :) So far I have the football museum and the library on my list, and from the pubs/restos: Marble Arch, Rudy's, Cask, Sinclair Oyster, Tib Street Tavern, The Old Wellington. Already quite the exhaustive list...

Attending my first ever City game on 26th Oct

Yes, solo. Block 306, row AA, seat 160. Thanks so much already for the so many posts and the lovely reception. :) I will definitely think over whether I want to catch a flight from Liverpool/Birmingham on a Sunday, or rather do it on a Monday after. And yes, I've heard all the bad rumours...

Do I have any other option with public transport? I mean, apart from flying straight to Manchester, but due to my discount, I'm almost sure I am taking the flight to Birmingham on Friday. The museum goes on to my list! Thanks.

Attending my first ever City game on 26th Oct

I figured that since I've been a fan before the takeover (see my login registration) and who knows if this isn't Guardiola's last season with us, it's finally time after almost 20 years to attend my first City game. It will be the one against Southampton at home, and I can't fucking wait...

    8 | Mateo Kovačić - 2024/25

At times it felt today that the coaching staff just made him watch videos of Rodri for the whole summer. (I know he played at the Euro.)

    27 | Matheus Nunes - 2023/24

Real shame about that miscontrol, but it's not like Rodri doesn't have those every second game (and no, I'm not comparing them), and apart from it, I thought he played more than well throughout the game.

    20 | Bernardo Silva - 2023/24

As soon as Haaland is back, it's more than likely that we move Foden to the wing and Bernardo to the middle for the sake of balance.

    2 | Kyle Walker - 2023/24

    What a fucking assist
