    Ilkay Gundogan - 2017/18 performances

Thought he looked as clever as ever on the pitch. Hopefully he makes a proper return as it's evident he's still some fucking player.

    Eliaquim Mangala - 2017/18 performances

I was one of his critics since he came back this summer as I just can't see him under Guardiola, so it's just fair now to applaud today's performance. Rock solid defending and quite quality, decisive and quick distribution throughout the game.

Maffeo tearing our lads a new one.

He's visibly frustrated, but let's take it positively and be glad he's taking it seriously. :)

Match Thread | Girona vs Manchester City (15/08/17 @ 1700hrs)

Well, that was surprisingly shit. I don't really like that Bernardo switching between the wing and halfspace, a proper right winger like Sterling could have been useful with the space we've been given there. But the main problem is that our attackind mids (Foden, Brahim, Bernardo) can't hold on...

Bravo - Danilo, Tosin, Stones, Mangala, Sane - Yaya - Bernardo, Foden - Brahim, Sterling would be my guess. Could be interesting.

Not necessarily. Or in other words, Sterling, Stones and Walker could be easily enough.

    Welcome Benjamin Mendy

It's shocking that this is even discussed. Surely some, well, you know, footballing insight could be BT's aim if they went for Gerrard and Lampard as their so called analysts. Yet they are discussing some harmless fucking tweet from a footballer. (On a sidenote, imagine how much of a borefest...

    Kyle Walker - 2017/2018 Performances

If he continues like that and all the 117+500m in bonuses will be paid, it'll still be a bargain to be fair.

    It's Quiet - a new dawn

De Jong was basically second-choice by the time we won the league with Mancini, albeit quite an important and frequently used one.

    Phil Foden - 2017/18 performances

Yeah, I know annd you said he will benefit 'far more' from the game against Rotherham which will probably include a weird lineup from City, not to mention the opponent and will probably have the pace and level of some sub-standard non-league game. Whilst we know our relationship with Girona so...

    Shay Facey

Do we know anything about him? It looks like his loan at Heerenveen was hardly a success, now he's in a bit of a limbo as Barker is...

    Ederson Moraes - 2017/18 performances

I'm not him, but we were there in the summer and definitely this place: https://www.tripadvisor.com/Restaurant_Review-g189158-d12209744-Reviews-MeetUs_ao_Carmo-Lisbon_Lisbon_District_Central_Portugal.html Lovely, and I mean very, very lovely and funny sisters running (and cooking) the business...

    Ilkay Gundogan - 2016/17 Performances

    35 out of 72 leauge games is almost 50%, so that's a bit of a stretch. :)

What are you listening to.................RIGHT NOW!!!

Going to see Interpol at their first show after 3 years in Prague, playing the entire set of their first (and best) album Turn On The Bright Lights as it is 15 years old (2002). So, I'm listening to that..

    Ederson Moraes - 2017/18 performances

This. Basically, Pep got his very own Neuer here and I assume he was fucking ecstatic when this occured. It can actually save/win us matches, not the other way around. I always keep reminding people that when Germany went on to win the WC, they could have easily gone out would Neuer not perform...

Our squad this season - HG/foreign quotas

Another update, if anyone is bothered. :) So currently we have 2 quotas for foreigners, but I'm not including Nasri, Mangala, and Bony obviously. And we have the 4 HG currently still fulfilled (as of CL rules), while Delph is here, along with Walker, Stones and Sterling.

    David Silva - 2017/18 performances

Still better than when we have Foden, Roberts, Bernardo, Brahim all together on the pitch. All tiny and all almost exclusively left-footed (bar Brahim). :)
