I'd go 4 at the back and either put Mangala at LB with pure defensive duties, or put Danilo there and put Walker on the right, Mendy is desperately needed.

Putting Walker on the right would be miraculous.

I'd much sooner play Touré than Fernandinho and half the time Sterling is a much better option than Aguero. In a back three Stones would get in and in a back two, although I'd prefer Otamendi, I know most on here hate him.

Well, that was surprisingly shit. I don't really like that Bernardo switching between the wing and halfspace, a proper right winger like Sterling could have been useful with the space we've been given there. But the main problem is that our attackind mids (Foden, Brahim, Bernardo) can't hold on to the ball and at the very best, they just somehow kick it back when their defender presses them. Girona are playing brilliant, mind, and the pitch doesn't help our passing game.

It's a friendly and the season has already started, they're just here to gain some form, especially those who haven't had much playing time as of now. They shouldn't go bonkers here. In fact, they shouldn't go half bonkers. Ignore whatever you're seeing here. It means nothing. Nada. Zilch.

Am I the only one who thinks Tosin looks decent tonight? The only player who's been better is Bernardo (unsurprisingly).

I really am not seeing it. As much as I like Tosin and want him to make it, every time I see him he looks nervous, error-prone and easily beaten.
