    Jadon Sancho

I can sort of imagine that Arsenal promised him some game time in the EL and League Cup which might be huge for him. But going to Spurs would definitely make more sense other than that.

If Solanke will end up costing 3m, then something around 4m seems a bit too low even.

    Neymar

I think this is exactly what happened when Javi Martinez or Herrera went to their current clubs, so I'm not too sure that just because we are talking about a whole different scale, suddenly Barca can question anything. If they pay, they pay, and maybe years after UEFA can act accordingly.

    Neymar

PSG or Qatar will somehow pay it to Neymar who will then buy out his contract. Only issue (but seemingly it's not an issue...) is that there should be a 20-40% tax in the case of activating a release clause in Spain.

    What's your favourite European city?

Surprised by that many calls of Rome as I'm not a huge traveller, yet loved a few more cities I visited even more! Not that it's bad or anything, but: Porto, Lisbon, Edinburgh, Barcelona, and possibly even Florence surpass it in my opinion. :)

    Kelechi Iheanacho

It just sounds too much of a conspiracy to me. Leicester would be stupid to buy someone for 25m and instill a 35m clause in it.

    Kelechi Iheanacho

He's a lovely lad but isn't it a bit weird that literally everytime he reports a City income/outcome his 'sources' are in favour of City, whereas all other journos claim another (for us, worse) fee?

    Kelechi Iheanacho

Yeah, it only makes sense like this. If we buy him back, it would be with a good reason, like he's developed into a world class striker. Well, effectively 25m for a world class striker is quite a price. Not to mention that what if after that, someone buys him for 60-70m, see Morata. :) Though...

    Kelechi Iheanacho

I think this is exactly the method in which Madrid do their buy-back clauses.

City to play Girona on the 15th August

Will be even more fun now, this game.

    Alexis Sanchez

So today he should return to training, well according to Wenger that is. Will he?

    Jadon Sancho

I think this is the only explanation and yes, twosips and others have called it too. Or just remember Pep's words about Kolarov: he doesn't want someone in the team who doesn't want to be in it in the first place, no matter their qualities.

City to play Girona on the 15th August

I was talking about the Girona game, obviously.

Agree re Cox. :) I think Wilson is or used to be better, but it's like he never really built upon his relatively solid standard, quite the opposite really. Anyway, I wouldn't think he's in any way biases towards any current bigger club in England, he just has too many shit points and useless...

City to play Girona on the 15th August

Also, it's still mid August so we might easily still have here Mangala, Nasri, Denayer, Roberts etc. even if we offload them later.

To be fair, Wilson is an okayish journo normally and he's not exactly a United fan or City basher or anything (and he probably quite admires Pep, still). It's just that his opinion on Walker, i.e. that whole Guardian piece was shockingly absurd and shit in my opinion.
  17. H

    Jadon Sancho

It's a bit like the Donnarumma saga on a smaller scale. We are literally talking about kids, badly advised kids even, in an already fucked up industry. Hardly a surprise that situations like this occur, but making them the evil certainly won't help anyone.
  18. H

    Jadon Sancho

I really doubt this is going to happen. In fact, other than Spurs, everything in UK would be a weird and stupid step for him in my opinion, whatever we think about City and giving our youngsters a chance. If he goes to, let's say, a German team, then actually good luck and at least he has the balls.

It won't be too long when we will miss even DeployLeroy!

Arijanet Muric | Joins Burnley on a permanent deal

It's hardly a tragedy though. Chances are we won't see Grimshaw in the CL next season at all, but if we do, well we have shitloads of skillful forwards anyway. :)
