In my opinion yes. Haaland's a supreme marksman & when he plays we're setup to supply him all the ammo, but if he's not banging em in like he was last season, sometimes it feels we're playing a man down. If he had the footballing ability of Harry Kane, he'd be the world's best by a country mile.

And to think of all those who kept calling him a liability. The money spent on Manuel's gotta be the best £14m ever spent in modern football.

Hammer Time! I'll get the positive/negative out of the way first. We played with the swagger of the Manchester City we know, scored four away, with three different scorers... All without Erling. Brighton started well, but unlike many times this season, as they stepped up the early pressure...

    Jamal Musiala

You're just behaving all butt hurt because the truth hurts. All I've done is outline the provable facts, & held it up to you like a mirror so you can see what everyone else can see. I feel connected to City, because I'm a life-long, match going fan & without the likes of me in the bad times as...

Manchester City's sponsors own 0% of our club. We're privately owned by 3 major shareholders, but there's an even more pertinent question... Adidas, Audi & Allianz own 25% of Bayern. ⅔ of your total revenue comes from sponsorship & 75% of your sponsorship revenue comes from your top five...

Last manager who City fans really wanted sacked

In comparison to Pearce, I'd have had anyone to replace him, including Beeny the Horse, let alone Hughes. We were in a poor state at the time, & Hughes with Blackburn & Fat Sam with Bolton were considered an upgrade on what we had. Either would've been better than Pearce.

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

What a wicked Web you weave, when at first you try to deceive. Being affected & hampered by the rules they brought in to stop City? It wasn't meant to be like this... :-)

How many foreign players do you think we can have at once? Hindsight is a wonderful thing. As for English talent, does that include Sterling, Philips, Cole, Stones, Foden, Grealish, Walker, Lavia, McAtee, Trafford, Lewis, Doyle x 2, Harwood-Bellis etc, etc, etc...

    Joao Neves

He's won it all at the highest level in the game apart from the World Cup. If Bernie returned to Benfica now, he'd be a meaningful upgrade for them, as opposed to going back in three years time as a waning former star on a farewell tour before retirement. In this respect, if we were to lose him...

Last manager who City fans really wanted sacked

Mate, many of us saw what was coming, & like you said, it seems MP had no plan b. Playing a high line defence with Demichelis, Kolarov & Zabaleta was suicide. Pep mitigated those weaknesses the best he could in his first season, but once he got the defence he needed in 2017, he turned us into...

Last manager who City fans really wanted sacked

TBH, I was alarmed after we went from the controlled football under Mancini, to a manager who set us up 4-4-2, waited for the whistle to blow, & yelled "CHARGE"!! We beat a newly promoted Swansea 4-0 at home in MP's first match, but we had little control throughout the game & it could've been...

Last manager who City fans really wanted sacked

I felt so sorry for him that day. It was embarrassing watching most of the stadium drain out as quickly as we did, but this is the way our fans chose to let their feelings be known after nearly being relegated from the Champions League. It was rumoured & later confirmed that MP was only ever a...

Last manager who City fans really wanted sacked

I've supported every manager we've had & always wanted them to succeed. However, it just never worked out for some & when they were sacked I was comfortable with the club's decision. In terms of turgid football, Ball & Pearce spring to mind.

To be fair, after his excellent displays in the Euro's, I was as excited as anyone about the purchase of Philips. Even up to last summer I held out hope he'd come good, but Rodri's interview changed all that, & from then I knew it was over for him at City. I've never rated panic buy Nunes from...

It's Quiet 18 - Wanna ring the bell?

If we do keep him, it's the only position we should train him up to play. He's got the physicality, speed the odd trick & flick, it's just he generally does fuck all with it & he's shit in front of goal. There's far better CDM options out there, but if he has to remain, let's play him somewhere...

Désiré Doué - 19 Year Old French Attacking Midfielder

I really like Kudus, so if you think he's better than him already, that's high praise indeed imo. So he's not as good a goal scorer as Wirtz or Musiala, but is he as creative? If you rate him as a central midfielder, would you see him more as a No 8, 10 or 6?

Désiré Doué - 19 Year Old French Attacking Midfielder

From what I've seen he can play wide left/right, as a No 10 or a box to box No 8 & potentially a No 6. The analysts believe he can play as a striker or false 9 too. I see Lewis as an eventual Gundog replacement & midfield is where he sees himself in the future. As for the Camavinga/Doue...

You can add Txiki leaving in the summer to that list too. "Apparently" he feels it's time to move on because he's achieved everything at City... \0/

There are several rumours (probably/maybe 2+2=7) that Leeds would be interested in Kalvin if they gain promotion. After the way his career's tanked, I think this is by far the most realistic solution. His wages will be an issue, but to cut our losses, it might be an idea to come to a severance...
