    Russian invasion of Ukraine

Here are magic Grandad's words All of which sounds fine and dandy until you address the issue of what a "diplomatic solution" is, given that Russia is fascist state which denies the right of a Ukrainian state to exist and has systematically raped, tortured, kidnapped and murdered civilians...

    Russian invasion of Ukraine

They already are lashing out with everything they have IMO. And whilst it certainly is satisfying to see these restrictions removed, it's highly unlikely to suddenly transform the battlefield, alas.

In which case I've no clue what you're on about.

    Russian invasion of Ukraine

Your assumption is that rewarding putin for nuclear blackmail will stop nuclear blackmail. That seems implausible.

Report that the Danes have stopped the ship allegedly responsible. No idea how reputable the source is. https://bsky.app/profile/tendar.bsky.social/post/3lbeizacdfs2m

    Russian invasion of Ukraine

This whole thesis depends on the logic that giving in to Russian nuclear blackmail will prevent further nuclear blackmail. Can you see the problem there?

    Russian invasion of Ukraine

"Imposing neutrality on Ukraine will not bring about a durable peace in Europe. On the contrary, it would leave Ukraine at Putin’s mercy and set the stage for a new Russian invasion."...

As I understand it, Russia lacks the capability to shoot down this sort of missile at all (they're supersonic rockets, not subsonic cruise missiles). Could be wrong though.

"calm things down" Oh, my aching sides. Trump is interested in two things: his ego and his wallet. If you haven't learned that yet, there's no hope for you.

    Russian invasion of Ukraine

Russia have made empty nuclear threats all the way through this war because they're weak, no because there's any danger of them following through, you struggling to understand that part?

One thing that's been consistent all the way through this is the Russian military has been overestimated. Including, but not limited to: -humiliation in the battle for Kjiv -humiliation in the retreat from Kharkiv -humiliation in the retreat from Kherson -humiliation in the loss of their...
