    Russian invasion of Ukraine

I think you're probably way off. The more damage Ukraine can do ahead of Trump the better, from a negotiating standpoint. No bridge, arguably Russia can't hold Crimea without Ukr concessions. Never been a more important time IMO. I doubt Ukraine has the capability though.

I think the plan is to strap 10 together and direct for Kim's bunker in Pyongyang

    Russian invasion of Ukraine

I love these sort of posts. Simultaneously ultra confident and completely uninformed. FYI Putin has been involved in wars in Georgia, Moldova (Transnistria) not to mention Syria and several African countries, as well as providing troops to prop up the regime in Khazakhstan. The Belarus...

That T shirt! Got to love Zelensky. A quite extraordinary leader, the polar opposite of Trump.

    Russian invasion of Ukraine

He doesn’t really care about goals in the ordinary sense of the term. All he cares about is getting other people to pay attention to him, and ideally to show him obeisance.  Exactly my view of Trump, and not a reassuring one. Particularly as the vindictive old psychopath descends into the...

    Russian invasion of Ukraine

Lots of people on here seem to think they have the capability. Yet they've tried at least twice, and failed. Obvious conclusion to me is they don't have the capability.

@west didsblue , dirtying themselves for the sake of facts and truth. A true hero of the Internet age.

    Russian invasion of Ukraine

Yes, I agree with that. But regardless as to how effective Biden has been, the intent was to support Ukraine. Trump will, I think, likely do the opposite just because he can. In the same way he attempted to undermine Obamacare; not because he was actually opposed to it, but just...

    Russian invasion of Ukraine

Unsurprisingly, all of Trump's inner circle are utter pond life. Nevertheless, they manage somehow to surprise by continually demonstrating yet worse aspects of their nature. I really, really hate bullies, and that's what these scum are at heart. They enjoy exerting power to humiliate...

Friendly reminder that Trump is older than Biden was when he won in 2020.

    Russian invasion of Ukraine

Yup. Plus it's the opposite of Biden. But I would guess even more so, it's simply an expression of power. He gets off on coercing people to comply with him.

    Russian invasion of Ukraine

No surprise the Russians are all in. Strategically, they think they've won with the bullies coming to the White House ecstatic they've a weak Ukraine to punch. Sadly, Putin may be right, but equally Musk might prove to be just one in a long line of people underestimating Ukraine.

    Russian invasion of Ukraine

You state your opinions as bald facts. Eg above "Russia is not in trouble, trust me bro." And no, I often have low confidence in my opinions. Particularly on the Ukraine war. I know little of military strategy, nothing of intelligence from either side and am very wary of propaganda from...

Whereas you do have seemingly unshakeable confidence in your own opinions, invariably stated as fact without any support.

    Russian invasion of Ukraine

On Russian ability to sustain resources, "bro" Some important lessons emerge. First, Russia’s economy cannot indefinitely sustain its war against Ukraine. Labor and production bottlenecks will condemn Russia to defeat as long as Ukraine’s allies sustain it beyond the second half of 2025...

    Russian invasion of Ukraine

I think it's impossible to know. Russia must be in a desperate position for manpower, otherwise they wouldn't be using prisoners and North Koreans. They're definitely losing equipment faster than they can replace it, but how critical the overall position is, or how long they can continue...
