Really should have been a Russell Norris one two, that.

Why would it create a ripple? That’s just Spurs doing what Spurs does :)

    Electric Car Charging

Pretty much. I’ve got a foot in both worlds, I own a Land Rover and also have an EV (bmw i4) through salary sacrifice at work. I wouldn’t buy an EV outright, at least not one at the price the i4 is. It has made me rethink the LR though. Going to swap that in now and go for something with a lot...

Quite a few people that disregard them entirely are whoppers too to be fair. I wouldn’t have got one with this blokes particular circumstances though.

    Rodri - The 2024 Ballon d'Or Winner! (Pg 131)

Of all the stick the media have (rightly at times) got, it’s good to know plenty out there still understand what they’re watching. Either journalists or if it was purely coaches voting, then Rodri wins it. If it was players or fans, then I think Vinicius Jr would have won it. Really chuffed...

Surely the end result for her is why she’s complaining about the performance..? ;)

    The Labour Government

Is that right? They introduced 42 government bills in their first parliamentary session but that lasted til 2012. I’d be amazed if 40 of them came in 2010. To be fair to Labour as well, it’s been 30 sitting days. That’s pretty impressive how much they’ve introduced already. Not saying I agree...

    The Labour Government

No they’re not, most are volunteers. Even if some are, it’s still something that’s happened in every election. If you’ve always thought that rationale and criticised all parties equally for it then fair enough. Personally I don’t think it’s a big deal at all, never have done and just shows the...

    The Labour Government

Truss did it when she was a sitting Conservative MP when they were in power. The irony of your last paragraph is you’re the one being a crybaby about it. This has always happened in every election, why’s it a problem now? If they’re doing it in their own time and via their own funding then...

Haaland Goal v Sparta - Fluke or Genius?

It was genius that he was able to get the contact on the ball the way he did and it went towards the goal. That it went in was a slight bit of a fluke though. Personally I actually think his other goal was better, the speed at which he transferred the ball from his left to his right foot and...

    The Labour Government

It’s not just that, it also makes them look ridiculous given it’s things they’re all doing themselves, and often they go further and actually do break rules in doing it.

    The Labour Government

What’s daft is it even being considered newsworthy, let alone the way it’s been subsequently weaponised. Feels like everyone is collectively losing their heads at the mo.

Match Thread | Man City vs. Sparta Prague (23/10/24)

It allowed more for interpretation. Think some do still want that judging by some of the comments but that Llorente one shows the issues of having it open to interpretation.

Ditto. Llorentes goal wouldn’t have stood now. Shouldn’t have done at the time either but still, the rules have changed slightly.

    Referees’ Performances | 2024/2025

It was a stat that Opta produced. Showed we’re way down the list on overall time wasting but top of the list for time taken on goal kicks. I don’t think we’ll stay at the top of that but it shows there are times when Ederson takes his time depending on the match situation. He’s not...

    Referees’ Performances | 2024/2025

That works both ways though. There’s been plenty of times I’ve thought Ederson should have been booked and hasn’t - he spends more time on goal kicks than anyone else in the league. Regardless of that though, my point was our style will lead to a greater likelihood of committing yellow card...

    Referees’ Performances | 2024/2025

Yeah that doesn’t surprise me and also why we don’t have that many fouls per yellow card. When we’ve got high possession, we’re pinning the other team right back and looking to regain posession quickly. That high press does lead to more fouls than if we were reverting to shape and dropping off...
