    Players who might improve us

They will sell in a few seasons too because they have Kumbedi coming through after singing him from Le Havre (he was one of the best players at the u17 Euros and scored 2 goals in the final from RB).

    Cannot download mobile ticket

Hello, does anybody else get a ‘pass cannot be added to passbook’ error when trying to download mobile tickets? Never used mobile tickets or apple wallet before but just ran into the issue trying to download tickets for Brighton and Fulham games. Tried every possible browser and have ended...

    Christian Dunbar-McDonald

Not sure if anyone noticed, but he was on the bench for the u18’s today, at the tender age of 15. Doesn’t look like he got on the pitch given it was a tight game but great to see him playing at that level already

Carlos Borges | Signed by Ajax for £12m

He is superb, his performance against Liverpool a couple of weeks back was scary.

EDS player most likely to feature for the first team this season

Rico Lewis will get plenty this season. Of the rest of the EDS, I think Borges is a good bet. He’s a great prospect and has started this season very well. Dire Medube might get a chance. Maybe Oscar Bobb too given he was player of the year. I said in the summer that Lewis was perfect for...

    11 | Oleksandr Zinchenko - 2021/22 Performances

Was insane today. Most under rated player in the world. Half of our fan base don’t even know how good he is.

Aston Villa (H) Post Match Thread

It’s an argument for another day but he is far more consistent and less infuriating than Cancelo. He nearly always helps us to play with more rhythm and tempo. Cancelo can pull a worldie assist out of his arse but he kills our tempo and rhythm at times.

EDS and Academy players of the year

Rico Lewis is exceptionally good. He’s a first team player in a few seasons.

    The Title Race - 2021/22

Urgh it’s that kind of freaky shit that scares me. Even the teams involved in that were the two teams who can fuck this up for us.

Show of support before Aston Villa | Club update (Pg 13) - Pep wants this to happen

I’m travelling down from Middlesbrough without a ticket just to be there. It’s my girlfriends birthday so I’ve said she can tag along. Anybody know if the game is being shown anywhere near the ground?

    Aston Villa (H) - Sun 22nd May, 16:00 (BST) | Pre-Match Thread

This is what annoys me. When he plays really well it’s ignored yet when he doesn’t play well it’s held up as proof that he isn’t a full back. He played a crucial role in the first two goals against wolves (he won the header that started the attack for the first and played the ball into KDB for...

Disagree. We need to score. We need full backs who can break lines.

    Left Back

Would be a strange one. He was a potential superstar in the making at youth level for Spain but never really kicked on at Dortmund.

    #7 | Raheem Sterling - 2021/22 Performances

Yeah noticed that myself. Been a few times where he hasn’t backed his pace and has instead checked back. He’s done really well for us but I feel like our fanbase treat him like a protected species - like he was just not allowed to be criticised. We are competing with teams across Europe who...

    Erling Haaland

It’s a rehash of the main story of the weekend - which is Haaland has said yes to City and the only remaining stumbling block is the fees for Mino and Alfe. They have just put a slightly different slant on it to get clicks from Real Madrid fans.

    11 | Oleksandr Zinchenko - 2021/22 Performances

I don’t agree with this. We obsess over whether or not he is a natural left back when it’s largely irrelevant. He was good enough to dislodge Cancelo from LB for the CL final. He outperformed Walker and Cancelo in the latter stages of the CL last year. And our winning percentage is higher when...

    Erling Haaland

There is just no way the staggered payments story is true. A club is not obligated to accept a staggered payment for a release clause, so it would defeat the purpose of him having a release clause to begin with. As a selling club, if a buyer wanted to stagger payments, you would probably ask for...

    Spurs (H) - Post-Match Thread

I think that’s a bit of a nonsense to be honest. Zinchenko doesn’t have the match winning quality that Cancelo has but he is far more stable in terms of game to game performances and his retention and contribution to the rhythm helps us so much.
