    Best band you've seen live?

Echo the shouts for Springsteen. The guy is an absolute machine and is now into his mid-seventies. A hell of a back catalogue and live he is up there with the very best. Seen him about ten times and actually the one that really stands out was his solo tour in 2005 - saw him at the Royal...

Fair enough, you definitely speak from a position of experience. He was adamant there was an issue with lighting though - probably dumbed it down for an idiot like me!

Etihad Campus, Stadium and Collar Site Development Thread

Heard the same and came on here to post what I’d been told this week. A friend of mine works for a company that provides tradesmen for the works and he told me it’s been beset by problems and more than one of the building companies involved (smaller ones) presumably have gone bust. I asked...

    Last Film You Saw

AF - his likeness is used. Debate raged about the etiquette of doing so. FE - no.

    Last Film You Saw

You’re not wrong although I do have a soft spot for GB2 as it was the first film I ever saw at the cinema (Roxy at Hollywood.) That humour of the 80’s was a moment in time and even by GB2 it was over. These last two films can’t possibly hope to recapture that and therefore I enjoyed them for...

    Last Film You Saw

GB has its issues for me but I still thoroughly enjoyed it. Murray underused and lots of scenes (including ones with him) from the trailers weren’t included. Final act felt rushed and would have benefited from more time seeing how the big bad wreaked havoc. Better than Afterlife? Very, very...

    Last Film You Saw

Just back from Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire. As a huge fan of the original, I found lots to like and enjoy. Definitely some issues though, particularly around too many characters/too many ideas. Mainly though, lots of build up and then it was suddenly all over. I’m sure we can all empathise…. 7/10

The Big 5 and Decade in Pictures Books

Ordered this for my Mum for her birthday (on Mother’s Day) and I’m sure we were originally told they were being sent out from the 19th Feb. Still no sign and not even an email to say it has been despatched.

    Last Film You Saw

As a big Springsteen fan I really enjoyed this. More than Bob Dylan did anyway!

    Trailer Time...

Can’t agree with you on that but I do think this film will be more fun.

    Trailer Time...

New Ghostbusters trailer. Have to say, as a child of the 80’s this really floats my boat.

    Joiners - Stair spindles advice

She was out. All tidied up before she got back. Had to fend off the ‘What the fuck have you done?’ line of questioning somehow.

Ha ha fair enough! Look, the panel needed taking out. It’s out. Job done in my book. But as someone else said, I don’t think the handrail is suitable so spindles so the whole thing will have to come off anyway. So my efforts thus far have been….well, pointless! Still, I got to do some actual...

I’m pretty sure it isn’t so it will need a new handrail too. And no, let’s just say the panelling took some forceful persuading to come out. Happy to say a fellow Blue has kindly offered to come and take a look.
