Sergio Aguero scored one in the cup final against Arsenal, from Ederson's goal kick.

Similar to the " tackle" on That was similar to the incidents against Brighton, Chelsea and Arsenal where a penalty should have been given but it just got waved away. Almost guaranteed there won't be a media inquest. It's the same with the other half of the " history twins" penalties waved away...

That was a great read, thanks. " Mind the Gulf".

PGMOL Apologise to Everton. It WAS a Penalty!

One, there were two in that game alone plus a shove in the back in the box on a City player, also " missed".

I was about to ask if this is the explanation for the forearm smash by the Liverpool player against Arsenal? Maybe as they were both going for the ball it was alright?

Does this excuse the forearm smash on These type of decisions and explanations are trotted out on a regular basis. They seem to contradict each other all the time.

Abraham Lincoln's quote seems more appropriate with each ridiculous decision and official statement.

PGMOL Apologise to Everton. It WAS a Penalty!

The rules regarding " simulation " are conveniently ignored, maybe because certain teams seem to benefit more than others.

PGMOL Apologise to Everton. It WAS a Penalty!

There was also the two handball incidents and a shove in the back on a City player, all "missed" in a previous game. One of those handball incidents led to setting up a goal for them.

PGMOL Apologise to Everton. It WAS a Penalty!

That would make the game far more transparent and ultimately more fair. Unfortunately that is probably viewed as being bad for the " brand ".

PGMOL Apologise to Everton. It WAS a Penalty!

Imagine if all games in " history " were re-refereed" what would the " history twins " be left with. Their trophy cabinets would be as empty as the supermarket shelves during the Covid hysteria.

PGMOL Apologise to Everton. It WAS a Penalty!

It would be extremely interesting to see the results of fair, impartial officiating.

PGMOL Apologise to Everton. It WAS a Penalty!

What would be really glorious is if the decisions given to the " history twins " was checked for every decision. It would be interesting to see how much " history " they were left with after an investigation, which is what was being suggested for City by the Premier League after CAS.

PGMOL Apologise to Everton. It WAS a Penalty!

Exactly, did Crystal Palace get an apology after the offside goal and the dubious penalty? All smoke and mirrors.

Yet there was a media witch hunt conducted with Jordan Pickford for an innocent collision? It must be nice being a torchbearer for such an honourable profession.

    Media Thread - 2021/22

Another example of the agenda against City and in favour of the "media darlings" would be the handball when Liverpool played Wolves. Liverpool handball on the halfway line, a punt upfield another handball and goal, one nil. Wolves scored a goal that was ruled out for offside, much like the...

    Media Thread - 2021/22

It was the same in the earlier cup games. Against Leicester in the Caraboa cup, they should have had a player sent off early. Then against Cardiff another of their players should have been sent off and a penalty given to Cardiff. These decisions would have swung the games in favour of the...

    Media Thread - 2021/22

The " history twins " have been given these decisions consistently for decades. I remember when seven minutes was added to the game against Sheffield Wednesday and United "won" their first title for nearly thirty years. They did that with a side that cost a fortune, yet was " Earned not Bought...
