PGMOL Apologise to Everton. It WAS a Penalty!

So Old Mother Riley has to apologise and does what they said they didn't want to do some seasons back and 're-referee' matches. He's the one who ought to resign for all the fuckin' good he's ever done!

The whole point of having a referee is to make sure that the laws are applied impartially, and because most refs I've seen have defective eyesight we have VAR. And I would have thought that one ref who saw nowt passed it on to his VAR wallahs, or his VAR wallahs bellowed in his ear that we needed to look at Rodri's arms. VAR then finds that the video is inconclusive. Do we give a pen every time there's a VAR refusal just to be on the safe side. The arbitration of the game is hitting an all-time low when I thought it couldn't get any worse.

3 matches ago the biggest red card I’ve seen for a while wasn’t given. Armstrong putting a 3 inch gash in Laporte’s leg.

Where’s our fucking apology?
Spot on mate, and that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Two blatant handballs in the same game, against the dippers. As well as plenty of other “dubious” decisions just against them alone. Yes everyone has had a few go against them, but there’s no doubt a disproportionate amount always seem to involve us. What this proves beyond any doubt, is just exactly how we’re viewed, and the “agenda” is real. How many clear reds have the dippers got away with this season, do you see them on a loop? They clearly benefit more than any other team, proved again Sunday with another non red card, and Lakaku’s “offside”. If the dippers weren’t in the title race, you wouldn’t hear a peep. I’m calling it now, you’ll start to see even more outrageous decisions in our games till the end of the season.

Obviously a bit mad but precedent now publicly set and hopefully a lever to start the debate on “improving” VAR

At the end of the day we all just want a better standard of officiating

That'd be glorious
What would be really glorious is if the decisions given to the " history twins " was checked for every decision. It would be interesting to see how much " history " they were left with after an investigation, which is what was being suggested for City by the Premier League after CAS.
