    Media Thread - 2021/22

I'm sure I remember him calling for a sending off for Aymeric Laporte not too long ago. I think it was in the final against Spurs. The " offence " by Aymeric Laporte seemed like a friendly tap in comparison.

    Media Thread - 2021/22

I didn't see anything on twitter. I have seen more recently something on here about the spitting incident and the player being " reminded of his responsibilities" what is that about? Almost as though the media couldn't ignore it but chose to spin it instead. What are the F.A going to do? What...

    Media Thread - 2021/22

That is what I have been wondering. I thought it wasn't handball by the defender if it was accidental? Plus it hit the "t-shirt" area. It seems commentators are always outraged whenever City get a decision, yet not a word watching the favouritism clearly shown to the " history twins".

    Media Thread - 2021/22

Absolutely. It's as if whenever City get the odd decision It's used as a smokescreen to hide what is really going on. All this hype about them doing a clean sweep. They have had similar decisions to the one in the final in previous rounds of the Caraboa and the F.A Cup and the games against...

    Media Thread - 2021/22

I saw something about the investigation but the spitting incident is conspicuous by it's absence on twitter. I looked and saw one thing. It has hardly been mentioned and I think we all know how these " investigations" go. Same as the investigation about City's bus being attacked I would guess.

It's on page 697 of the Liverpool thread. Swept under the carpet like everything else.

    EFL Cup Final 27th Feb / 16.30 | Chelsea v Liverpool

They must have got the address wrong on the furlough application and sent it to the English government rather than the scouse government by mistake? YMCA.

    Everton (a) post-match thread

I know that, thanks. I already saw a physio in the hospital and a sports therapist after spending time in the hospital. I was on crutches, I couldn't walk properly, and had to try to recover slowly. Diet, sleep and fasting can also help.

    Everton (a) post-match thread

You're very welcome. Also I forgot to add, I was reading a book by Matthew Walker called " Why We Sleep " it tells how getting eight hours sleep reguraly is very important for mental and physical health, learning and recovery. Fasting helps too. As you say City winning helps also. Good luck.

I wrote on SamBlue's original post to be sure that you would both see this. I had a herniated disc a few years ago and found that avoiding wheat helps. Wheat can make problems flare up.

    Everton (a) post-match thread

I hope this helps, I had a herniated disc in my lower back a few years ago. I read that avoiding wheat could help a lot because it can make any problems flare up.

If City could sign a commentary team, who would you have?

I remember Stuart Hall doing the commentary for City. It always made me think of "It's a Knockout".

If City could sign a commentary team, who would you have?

There are some Manchester radio people on twitter. James H Reeve, I think, as well as Steve Penk. I used to like it when he would make prank calls and wind people up.

    Spurs (H) - Post-Match Thread

Sorry I quoted this twice. I don't know what happened. Anyway, it looked like the end of the world when City got relegated to the second division but it led to where we are today, the " "brand loyalty" of 30,000 supporters, that encouraged City's owners to buy City. As you say City will put it...

    Spurs (H) - Post-Match Thread

It happened against Leicester last season. It was disappointing yesterday but hardly the end of the world.

His writing is admirable because he is certainly swimming against the tide. Good for him.

These teams developed a worldwide fan base as a result. They get decisions to this day based on that popularity. The trophies they unfairly earn as a result of those decisions all go towards helping with FFP and help to maintain the status quo because it's "good for the brand".

Stuart Brennan reports fairly on City. Martin Samuel too, I think? I usually don't pay much attention to what the media have to say because it's usually tripe.

    VAR Thread - 2021/22

It was the same last time when they should have had a player sent off against City this season. Their supporters are all giddy because they are still in all competitions. Apparently it shows what a great side and manager they have. They should have had a player sent off against Leicester in the...

    VAR Thread - 2021/22

There were three penalties that were " missed" that should have been awarded to City that day, two handball incidents and a shove in the back.
