    17 | Kevin De Bruyne - 2022/23 Performances

Fair enough. That's the one in recent times that I didn't manage to see the 90 minutes, just brief highlights.

    9 | Erling Haaland - 2022/23 Performances

Yes, just think how many sitters he and Raz could have missed in just one game together ;)

    17 | Kevin De Bruyne - 2022/23 Performances

I know he scored at Anfield last season but it never seems like he has a standout game against this mob. Feel like it's guys like Bernardo or Foden who tend to be more instrumental in these matches. Am I being unfair? Or is my memory going?

Scousers getting giddy earlier than usual this season.

Inverted wingers plus Cancelo at right back doesn't really play to his strengths. Hopefully this firms up the resolve to sign Cucurella.

    Bernard Cribbins RIP

Just one of those iconic scenes you know you'll never forget after watching it. "So much more interesting than being a HOTEL INSPECTOR!!" RIP Bernard

Cover versions you think were better than the originals

Whenever this topic rears its head this is the song I always think about. Great stuff.

Bands you discovered as support acts

The Beths are great. Pretty sure they're Kiwis though. I saw St Vincent (Annie Clark) supporting The National about 15 years ago before I had any idea who she was. Not a massive fan but she was fucking brilliant live and had a fantastic stage presence. Couldn't take your eyes off her.

Liam Delap | £16m bid from Southampton rejected

Think Lavia was due mostly to having one year left on his contract. Seems to be highly thought of by City so selling with a buyback was the best option if he was looking for first team minutes and wouldn't commit to a new deal. Conversely, Delap recently signed a long-term contract so the club...

Who Better To Wave Us Off On Our Pre-Season Tour Than The President Of The Greeters Guild?!

Like how he nearly breaks when he says "You're very welcome!" to Grealish's dumbfounded reply.

    TV Series

I loved The Leftovers, and the theme music too which changed each season. It's so messed up at times but is brilliant tv. I think after Lost, people were wary about how Lindelof was going to conclude the show but I think he did a pretty satisfying job here.

Did you try Thimbleweed Park? I liked that but I got about half way through, got a bit stuck and when I finally went back to it had no idea what to do. I'm sure RTMI will be at the very least a very good game. Hopefully it will reach the heights of the originals.

I would tend to agree with you. Although I was similarly excited when Psychonauts 2 came out. It was worth the wait too.

    Romeo Lavia

Agreed. I think Pep is fairly risk averse when it comes to young players. Don't think it would have made much difference here though. Really hope he develops the way many have believed he would and ends up back at the club.

    Romeo Lavia

Disappointing to see him go but always seemed like the timing of a potential pathway wasn't quite right. If Dinho had been a couple of years younger then Lavia would've been in the perfect position to develop further as Rodri's understudy. But no way were City going to gamble on an 18 year-old...
