Never knew he was from Oldham. He always seemed to have a nice nature about him and had good comic timing.

Of course, his performance in Fawlty Towers is just superb. I can watch that episode over and over again, it's just brilliant. He more than matches everyone else in it, and that took some doing. Only a great could do that.
