Does Yaya still have a role?

Yaya surely isn't one of the main players in Peps plan. I hope he will get some game time and finish his career with another Premier League title before retiring. He absolutely deserves it.

City vs. Borussia Mönchengladbach pre-match thread

I saw Gladbach playing today. They had massive problems with Freiburg pressing them high - what we will do. The defence was horrible too. Freiburg, just promoted from 2. Bundesliga, should have scored some more. Gladbach is a decent team but if they play that way in the CL we will absolutely...

    United away - pre-match thread

Aguero banned, Clatt as ref, Shawn leaving the national team early. I don't belive in these conspiracy theories but f*ck me that's hard!

Aguero banned for three games (updated)

I see a positive aspect. The derby is the first game without Aguero. United have no example of how Pep will replace him. Nolito up front? No striker at all? Kelechi? Pep will find a good solution, and if Maureen doesn't guess right it will hurt them.

    Raheem Sterling - 2016/17 performances

Hazard first? Why? Sterling has 2 goals and 2 assists in 3 games. Of course we are biased but I think it's not even close this month.

Aguero banned for three games (updated)

Is it possible to argue that the Ref has seen it? TV pictures are proof he has seen it.

    Sergio Aguero - 2016/17 performances

The derby will be the most thrilling one since a couple of years. City vs United, both going for the title, Mou vs Pep, Aguero vs Ibrahimovic. Can't see anyone in the FA being interested to ban a star player.

    United 2016/17

Still not convinced. A lot of shots from outside the box. Will be interesting to see how they will attack against us, pretty happy we've got Bravo now.

    Gabriel Jesus

Will we loan him out or is he part of the first team?

    Claudio Bravo

Only this. Barcelona had ultimate success because they gave Pep unlimited trust. He was successful with Bayern, but in the end I think he left because there are too many people in Munich having huge influence on decisions. He axed players like Ibrahimovic and Etoo. And he was right! Trust the man!

    Claudio Bravo

Could you imagine the meltdown if he would get seriously injured today? All I want is this Barca game to be over and him not being injured.

    Stoke post match

Why was Sterling booed? Because he left mighty Liverpool and traded "history" for Champions League, Trophies, Titles and better team mates? If so, why do Stoke fans care?

    Stoke (a) 20/08/2016 - pre-match thread

Can't wait for the game. Our first real test. I'm sure from week to week, from training session to training session, we will witness improvement everywhere. Pretty confident we will win tomorrow!

Big signing? If so, it's not an attacker. Some decent midfielder. Kroos or something.

    Nasri Transfer Listed

Can anyone see Nasri going out for a one year loan to Bayern? Coman seems to be heavily injured.

Let's see some youth in the return leg!

No, and I don't think Pep will do it. Times are over when youth players were thrown in to rest senior players. Youth players which Pep think will be good enough will get their chance - in any game and not only in a second leg of a match we already decided.
