End of World , Bluedoom !!

I think this forum was missing another new thread, from a member complaining about blues being negative. Being negative about the negatives. Up the negatives

    Pep's contract situation | 2 year extension confirmed! (pg1817)

Statue doesn't seem positive in the sense of these things are usually unveiled after somebody's time there. I'm not a fan either of the statues or naming stands really.

    The Title Race - 2024/25

Both incorrect. Both bought in the summers. It is rare we do but we also haven't been hit like this before either. I think we will dip into the market, even for stop gap players.

The audio being released ages after the incident proves it isn't credible

    Pep's contract situation | 2 year extension confirmed! (pg1817)

That's a wild take. I don't want him sacked. I want him here as long as possible. It doesn't mean that it is good business letting him decide when he wants to tell us he is off. That respect has gone both ways since he started. I'd like to think when its time to go he's given us good notice.

    Pep's contract situation | 2 year extension confirmed! (pg1817)

Well it looks like the problem could be all of ours considering our form and poor performances throughout the season. There is no room for sentiment. They have a good relationship and sort things out informally but it is also bad business to just sit on our hands and let Pep decide when he wants...

    Pep's contract situation | 2 year extension confirmed! (pg1817)

Then a City forum isn't for you then if you think it isn't a talking point. Our manager, in his last year of his contract, with an ageing squad, going through a difficult patch and no new contract currently is a big talking point thanks. As you say it needs to be right for him and the club...

    Pep's contract situation | 2 year extension confirmed! (pg1817)

I do trust them, what I don't enjoy is the current uncertainty. Whilst the powers that be have that good relationship with Pep there is just zero benefit to letting it play out this way. You also confirm my point with the players extending, Pep staying makes us more attractive with current...

    Pep's contract situation | 2 year extension confirmed! (pg1817)

Well no, what it does is delay the conversations for two years rather than the very next year. It also offers stability to the players and future signings that the gaffer will be here for the foreseeable.

    Pep's contract situation | 2 year extension confirmed! (pg1817)

As said 1 year only delays the same conversations next year, and if he signs one year then it is a good sign that after that year he is gone. It makes a rebuild that bit harder and players a touch unsure signing if they don't know who will be in the dugout.

Piss off rag!!! Only joking, fair analysis really. Story of our downfall in not killing games off when in control. Brighton are ace, enjoy your season.

    Media discussion - 2024/25

The biggest squad comment always makes me laugh and I am staggered nobody ever pulls this up. Every single team has a 25 man squad. Nobody can have anymore, or is this a charge within the 115, having a bigger squad than others?

Christ, surely we can't pass much more than we already do. We pass every team to death and need 30 plus passes to get to the edge of the opponents area.

    Best City Football you've seen?

No, the Jesus game we was far from poor. We was much the better side but the De Bruyne one was more domination, that was also our marker that year for me, went to the champions, away and dominated every second. 1-0 flattered them. I know the Grealish assist Mahrez winner game and that wasn't...

    Best City Football you've seen?

Hopefully you are merging the two together. The Jesus winner was decent but the De Bruyne 100 point season game was utter dominance, whilst they was champions at the time too.

    Best City Football you've seen?

Well there is no answer other than that first half against Madrid. We haven't played like that before or since. Other moments might be close, being 4 up against United at half time a few years ago was nice but they are shite. That Madrid half was a proper schooling, against the champions of...

Brighton & Hove Albion (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

That is a very one sided view point, as you completely disregard we was lucky against Fulham, struggled against Brentford, won in the final seconds against Wolves and just pipped Southampton. So whilst you may want to take positives from defeats ( I thought we was good first half yesterday too)...

    The Title Race - 2024/25

It is tough, I think if Liverpool hadn't won and was still chasing their first for a while then Arsenal might pip it. I have no issues with how they are playing, they look good and deservedly at the top. I would hate to lose out to a stuttering Arsenal. Their fans are up there with Liverpool. I...

Premier League Games 9/10 November 2024

Yep, not bad for our top 4 race! To be fair we played Chelsea at a good time, wouldn't fancy us there now. Only team happy with this weekend will be Liverpool.

    United Thread | 2024/25

Is this forum just filled with man children? Who cannot hold a conversation and throw their toys out of the pram. We lost 4-1 last night and you called the team who inflicted that on us as bobbins, I joked that we must be shit if we got turned over by a bobbins side. As a club they have a decent...
