Best City Football you've seen?

Like the title says, I'm curious what is the best football you've seen City play?

For example, many point to the first half against Madrid, on the way to the treble, as the best football city okay. Some might point to the 2-1 Liverpool game that had the Stones clearance.

What are some of the best/top city footballing moments for you? Something that got out of your seat or in retrospect made you think you are likely watching greatness. Could be a moment, half, full game, etc..

In the PL I liked the away win at Arsenal in the snow.

First half against Chelsea early on in the title winning 11/12 season, we actually ended up losing the game (Oliver? ffs) but football wise the first half was to this day some of the best football I’ve seen us play.

Maybe not the most aesthetically pleasing but we won 1-0 away at chelsea 2 or 3 years ago and was possibly the most complete away performance I remember.

Thinking of the same one, we had Delph at LB and Kev scored the left footer from outside the box. Although that was more than 3 years ago I’m sure.

We won 1-0 with a Jesus goal a few years ago but think that was scrappy.

There’s been many periods of world class football, but I have to say the final stretch of the 22/23 season will take some beating. Rock solid at the back and potent going forward. Disposing of Bayern and Madrid like that was just surreal.

Shout out to the 17/18 season which was just masterful pretty much from start to finish.

Well there is no answer other than that first half against Madrid. We haven't played like that before or since. Other moments might be close, being 4 up against United at half time a few years ago was nice but they are shite. That Madrid half was a proper schooling, against the champions of europe and the team that dumped us out the year before.

Just checked and it was the Jesus goal game in 2021 I meant. Don't think it was scrappy though. Thought it was complete domination but maybe we just viewed the game differently.

Hopefully you are merging the two together. The Jesus winner was decent but the De Bruyne 100 point season game was utter dominance, whilst they was champions at the time too.
