I've never been impressed with Eze and certainly not for £70m. I would prefer Palmer who I think will be a great player. I don't get how Eze fits our style of play
He could also be worse than Sterling, don't forget that Sterling is in the top ten scorers of all time at City. He has a similar touch and technique to Sterling but with lower wages
What I took most from the game is that the front two of Haaland and Alvarez didn't work. We had Rodders and Kovacic in the holding roles and Stones stayed back ,which meant their press with three men in midfield worked . Alvarez should have been the outlet to break the press and get us into...
just a pre season game. I was pleasantly surprised by our fitness levels given our lack of pre season. I thought the starting line up kept the ball well but was a bit boring for my liking. Foden and De Bruyne changed that when they came on.
I think it will be a break through year for Palmer
Every fucking year we are subject to this Spanish media bullshit. They want him and he wants to go but they can't afford him. Don't they still owe us £40M for Torres?
This will be more realistic when he has one year left on his contract
If we lose this test then there is no point in watching the rest of the series. Australia will be at ninety percent thereafter. Any win would be because they have taken their foot off the pedal
