Well, I'm just waiting for one more instance of someone writing "the criteria is ....." so I can leap in to point out that "criteria" is a plural formation, the singular form being "criterion", just as "one phenomenon" but "two or more phenomena." Doesn't anyone learn Greek any more?

It annoys me how the guys onthe Sky Sports clip mangle the pronunciation of his forename. You'd have thought they'd have taken the trouble to find out how to say it correctly. It probably pissed him off as well.
