    Kinky BBC interview

Great memories. Not surprising he comes across so well, just like a hero should.

    Atmosphere 2024/25

It definitely played a factor that night but like all great ‘British’ atmospheres it was very much triggered by the events on the pitch. That game we were aggressive in the press and with the likes of Sane playing were always trying to get on the front foot. Still my favourite two years...

Great effort as always from the 1894 group

    Juve away

Really sorry to hear about your loss mate. It’s a really tough time right now and I hope you can take some comfort in the great memories and relationship you had. All the best to you and your family.

    Juve away

Yes I fell foul of these rules back in 2005 when I travelled over to watch Udinese v Panathinaikos in Udinese’s first ever Champions league match, so the regulation has been around a long time in Italy. At the ticket office they refused to sell me a ticket even though I explained I had...

99% of our fans are outside Manchester apparently

No offence mate but one in three were clearly not from the South East back then. That is an utter rubbish from Dennis. The only real indicator of where our support comes from is the planning application prior to the SSL3 being built and the clubs travel strategy.

Juventus (A) | CL | Post Match Thread

He is not going to undermine the team, struggling with confidence, for the benefit of the TV viewers. What needs saying will be said in the dressing room. He wants us to play a certain way, rightly or wrongly and there were elements of that we were good at tonight, but failed miserably on others.

    10 | Jack Grealish - 2024/25

I think that’s one of the elements of the game he struggles with. Players like KDB, Gundogan can see the pictures on the field instantly and then release the pass early or at the right moment. Jack has to take a number of touches before looking up and finding a pass and often the options have...

    Kevin Keegan

I just had a look at Transfer market and that summer, along with Berkovic, Benarbia, Huckerby, Goater, Horlock, Mettomo, Howey, Jensen(who I thought was brilliant) all left. Some understandable but it’s a huge overhaul and all massive contributors to the dressing room. The heart was literally...

    Kevin Keegan

One of the main factors for me was losing Berkovic. One of the best midfield performances I have seen was at Old Trafford in the 1-1 draw when Goatee and Ali B came on and created an equaliser. Pretty sure the game was in Feb, Berkovic then got injured maybe a game or two after and sold in the...

    Kevin Keegan

Yes it was brilliant. Shades of Watford in the 8-0 when we just went straight at them from the first minute and the game was over before half time. As you say they were top and most people were expecting a much greater challenge.

    Living in the UK advice.

I still love living in the UK. Spent a couple of years in OZ but it was not my bag. Once you had visited one coastal town, the others all seemed a bit identikit and being such a large Island I felt pretty isolated from the rest of the world and the papers/news etc reflected this. Moving home...

    Stand against prices

You do our wonderful train service a disservice. I could leave my destination on Saturday at 23:11 arriving in Manchester at 12:30 on Sunday, taking a mere 13 hours. Pretty much the say on the same back. So just a 26 hour round trip on the train. I think the Trans Siberian express is quicker.

    Stand against prices

Same here. Going to be a long drive Sunday night. Back for 2 up for work 5 hrs later. A mere 570 mile round trip for me.

Txiki Begiristain to leave role at end of season

Nobody on here has any real clue what Palmers demands were. What has been reported, to my knowledge, Palmer said he wanted to go on loan, Pep said he wanted him to stay. Palmer said he was told he either stayed or got sold there was no option of a loan. Neither party to my knowledge has...

How long will the rebuild take?

If he want to hit the ground running next season, ideally we need players to come in January. History as shown us that players need a period of adaption to Pep’s tactics. Whether we can achieve that, as you say is questionable, in a difficult transfer window. Lowering the age of the squad and...

Txiki Begiristain to leave role at end of season

I genuinely hope you are right but we have only seen glimpses of that talent as yet. He has a lot of work to do to be considered better than Palmer, currently. Personally I would rather we had both of them.

    Divine Mukasa

Does anyone know if he is training with the first team yet, playing for the U21s etc. The stats look great but to me it shows he may have already outgrown that level of football and needs a pathway to develop or we may lose another one.

    82 | Rico Lewis - 2024/25

I understand your point, it’s perfectly logical, but you would think they would learn how to defend transitions and understand the requirements of playing a high line. As for Lewis the jury is out for me. I have seen him play well but like all kids he needs a bit of time out of the firing line...

Liverpool (A) PL - Post Game

I think there has been positives, probably with the exception of Bournemouth, in all our defeats. The big issue is our defenders are completely error prone and we don’t have any legs in midfield. The main thing I struggled with was the effort and desire. Players can be out of form, lacking...
