Liverpool (A) PL - Post Game

Because it isn’t. Liverpool have just gone 11 points clear and beat their main rivals on the back of facing Real Madrid in midweek. Delusional to suggest some how it’s a moral victory.

Good luck tomorrow mate. If nothing else the pressure is off a bit so just make sure you enjoy it. Trail half tomorrow. Nice and easy and then we go again next year.

    11 | Jeremy Doku - 2024/25

Still think this lad has a lot to offer. Got all the raw materials you want in a winger. I just hope he can stay injury free and we can maximise his potential as his skillset is quite unique.

    Players who might improve us

I would be surprised if we’re not targeting someone and as you say in the January window we might be considering the less complex deals as it’s unlikely players, at the top, top level, will be open to a move during the season.

    Players who might improve us

Well Douglas Luiz said he trained under him for 2 months and Pep improved him by 70 percent. If Pep liked him and Douglas Luiz described that time as working under the ‘best coach in the world’ you never know it might count for something.

    Players who might improve us

Reports suggesting Douglas Luiz wants out at Juve. I wonder if Pep might be interested with Rodri’s injury, Prem proven and his previous with City might help the adaption process into a Pep system.

    10 | Jack Grealish - 2024/25

That is very true. His performances are ok when De Bruyne/Bernardo/ Gundogan are weighing in with the assists and goals from midfield and Haaland is running riot but on the occasions we need Grealish to step up it rarely happens. There might be others, but I can only think of Leeds away where...

It’s embarrassing that they have to spell this out to grown men and women to be honest.

Yep it’s the pathway the club has chosen in the vast majority of cases.

    Atmosphere 2024/25

I think it’s obvious you will be right and additionally, where as now when the cameras pan to the City support they invariably show the South stand level 1, flags waving, celebrations of level 1 after a goal scored, fans chanting etc what will they show when all our passionate fans are corralled...

Sat at home desperate to get out but it’s still chucking it down and windy down here. Ran Thursday in the snow, Tuesday (run club) when it was freezing cold, not sure I want the treble of being soaking wet through and blown around like a rag doll.

    Atmosphere 2024/25

I’ve not followed the North Stand development in detail but is it correct the ‘singing end/standing area is in the third tier of the stand. If so that sounds like a cynical seat grab by the club of the best ‘experience’ seats to sell on to football tourists and those who are less inclined to...

Time to stand up and be counted…..

Tough day but the signs have been there for a while. It’s been an incredible period in our history but we need a reboot now. The club has to evolve, a few players need moving on and we have the right manager in place to start the next cycle. I’ve accepted the title has gone and would be...

    26 | Savinho - 2024/25

Had a decent start to his City career but the issue is he is 20 playing in the Premiership for the first time at a club with totally different expectations. Sane, Rodri, Bernardo etc all took time to adapt to this, our issue is he should be part of the supporting cast not the player we are...

The tight at £14.99. I did wonder what they were like as I’m trying to keep injury free and as I’m not the best at warming up they might help prevent a few injuries. Yes I avoid the higher state stuff, as I always think if you want to get a few cheaper options, to pack out your wardrobe, you...

I did wonder if that might be the case, esp as a lot of the other shoes were like Scott, Puma Nitro which I had not heard of prior to the sale. Might stick to a headlamp then and see what comes up on Boxing Day.
