    47 | Phil Foden - 2023/24

Just good? I've seen some shit takes but yours is right up there that stank the most. Give you head a good spin maybe it could put your brain in the right position.

    8 | Mateo Kovacic - 2023/24

Three in case you forget. The first year of the current 3 peat. You know the season where KDB undeservedly won POTY over the likes of him, Mahrez and Dias.

    8 | Mateo Kovacic - 2023/24

We bought 2 midfielders and they are all below Foden's level, never mind KDB or Gundogan's level. Foden has blown hot and cold and Bernardo is struggling so we really needed to have much better options in mf than Kovacic or Nunes. What is the rational explanation for getting these two players?.

    9 | Erling Haaland - 2023/24

The problem with Haaland is he needs a very competent midfield creator on the field to supply him goals. Unfortunately we don't have that currently. Not even Rodri's return is going to fix this.

    Players who might improve us

Likewise by the low info posters who thought Maddison was just some highlight player. I think one could argue he is too much of a 10 but I felt he could be train to become more like a KDB type. We do not have a reliable creator in midfield with KDB's abcence and Gundogan's departure. Foden our...

Premier League Games 23/24 Sept '23

I'm still pissed we spent so much time chasing Rice and then Paqueta when someone like Maddison was available.

    21 | Sergio Gomez - 2023/24

How long before we see the Culos or is it Cules sniff around and entice him to come home.

    11 | Jeremy Doku - 2023/24

My take on Doku is he needs to improve his possession game if he has designs on Grealish/Bernardo role on the wing or become a technical winger like Sane/Mahrez. His goal contributions in his previous club has never been stellar. Obviously he has attributes that could possibly develop to...

    21 | Sergio Gomez - 2023/24

Great sub performance and a top class assist. This player might be the answer to our winger problem. From this sub performance alone I'd start him over Doku when Grealish is not available.

    19 | Julian Alvarez - 2023/24

I have the same sentiment. He's played himself well as the match went on like in the previous matches. I'm glad he is becoming more involved and making a bigger contribution. Anyone who thinks he played poor here has to be wumming.

    Kalvin Phillips

I like Kalvin and I really want to seem him succeed here. It is true he barely appeared in games last season. But one thing I appreciated is his presence in the sidelines when City played. I've never seen someone who is as exuberant and supportive in supporting the club as he is despite not...

    Cole Palmer

Bernardo was ineffective the last time out. The game could have used a more direct forward player than another whose instinct is still those of a midfielder.

It's Quiet 18 - Wanna ring the bell?

City got 3 ball carrying wingers that have no idea what the back of the net looks like, Foden excepted. We've just let go of our only direct winger in Palmer. Unless Haaland has another smashing season, the goals keep coming and the other clubs don't adjust tactics to thwart him we are looking...

    Cole Palmer

You are either wilfully ignorant or don't know much about football.

    Cole Palmer

This is essentially paying for Doku's transfer cost and one that leaves a bitter taste in my mouth. For one I don't rate Doku while having a very good impression of Cole Palmer. Second and most importantly, he is not only an academy graduate like Diaz, Frimpong or Kelechi, he is also a local lad...

    Cole Palmer

Doku? No wonder Palmer is leaving there are people in the club uttering nonsense like this.

    Matheus Nunes

Nunes is the club record signing. I'm pretty sure they'd want a return on their investments. It's very naive for City to think they'd part with him so easily. Brighton is apparently lauded for their brilliant price hyperinflation on their players yet now we are scoffing and disdaining at Wolves...

It's Quiet 18 - Wanna ring the bell?

I was dreaming of Wirtz/Barella and Mitoma now I've woke up in real life and it's Doku and possibly Eze. Underwhelming would be an understatement.

    Jeremy Doku

Mahrez is certified top class. Start trash talking when all this Doku dribbling skills leads to anything substantial and useful.

    Kaoru Mitoma

I was comfortable with us bidding up to 60+ for this player but now I think I may shed any pretence of penny pinching and bid 80+ for him. Technical, fluid and fast. What more could we ask on a winger? Plus points he also helps with the Japanese market where City receives a lot of sponsorships.
