Players who might improve us

Ezé, F.Wirtz and Paqueta any of these three would be excellent additions to the side. Gotta start planning for KDBs eventual departure </3 think we'll need two quality verging on world class players to fill the void when he does leave.
 
Kasey McAteer definitely one to keep an eye on. 5 goals in 7 for Leicester from the wing this season including a goal tonight vs Liverpool at Anfield.

This season will be an important one in terms of the development of our younger players (Foden, Alvarez, Haaland, Doku, and Gvardiol), none of whom are the finished article just yet. We’ll probably not have quite so many injuries at the same time, so depending on outgoings, there is really just a need for someone with versatility and experience: Paqueta. As I say, much will depend on the development of those five players, so it’s up to Guardiola, the coaching staff, and the players themselves to take it up another level.

Maddison would have been a good addition. Maybe not quite world-class, but proven in the prem. He's been one of the players of the season so far

Been sneered at plenty of times for suggesting he could have been a decent squad addition for the price.

I’m happy with who we’ve bought, but not a single reliable goalscorer amongst them.

Likewise by the low info posters who thought Maddison was just some highlight player. I think one could argue he is too much of a 10 but I felt he could be train to become more like a KDB type. We do not have a reliable creator in midfield with KDB's abcence and Gundogan's departure. Foden our only healthy creative midfielder has been all over the field in terms of starting position.

If they’d ever sell him, Camavinga. Unbelievably versatile player. Really made a difference the year we went out to Madrid. His defensive numbers for Rennes was crazy, think it was highest in the league. Let him learn from Rodri and he’ll be a monster.

Oh and he can play LB.

We would then find ourselves struggling to keep Gvardiol and Ake happily involved. There is already a thread on Boca's Barco, in whom we are reportedly interested, but whether he would meet the description of a specialist left back I'm not quite sure.
