    Juventus (A) - Wed 11th Dec, 20:00 | CL | Pre-Match Thread

it's time to re phrase mistake to certain players not being good enough at this level..but gallantly still giving 100% which I applaud. The day the 100% drops...fk em...Many of us would have crawled 100 miles to play for City - even if it meant f'king up...we'd all give the absolute max in terms...

Sort of agree, but it's mad striving for top 4 to qualify next year for a tournament we are already in this year. Im thinking - why not have a go now - who knows what might happen - might finish 7th this year anyway - we'd be like Arsenal for years under Wenger..just get top 4...get knocked...

    Cole Palmer

No where near world class - he's a baby in football terms - may never be. BUT and here's the big but, players who play with confidence like him are rare - i think that through ball after a turn v Newcastle - I mean Haaland would just love those opportunities. That pass came from a corner Chelsea...

    Cole Palmer

I think Pep could,, but I don't know why but it SEEMED from just a FAN looking in - that something didn't fit. It SEEMED that his cockiness may not have sat well....from an OUTSIDER... and of course Pep played..bloody hell he played 100's of games for Barcelona in midfield. This is a club that...

Way more than potential Kaz... anyone who played the game could see the kid was special - he was a standout at junior int'l level for YEARS...lots of experienced FA coaches recognised that as well as our amazing academy coaches (Wilcox etc) ....it was clear to me and others that every time he...

Rag FFS he played at our academy since 8 years old!!!!! ok his family may have supported them but that has no bearing on a professional footballer!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Cole Palmer

I think to Pep Phil and Rico were always going to be easier characters to manage - you get the feeling Cole could have really wound up the management with his very nonchalant approach - hope im wrong as that is a sad reason to influence the decision to move him on..£40m nowadays gives you what...

    Cole Palmer

Although Alvarez to me was 100% effort and less guile and talent..great squad player, as is Rico... Palmer well.... said before we even were thinking of selling him that we need to nurture his talent - some of the touches in the world club thingy..and his cameos..let alone his amazing EDS career...

    Cole Palmer

Absolutely, maybe because he plays with way more confidence and guile...there was an interview with both Palmer and Foden when at City - I sensed Palmer thought he was technically better than Foden and that IF given the length of bedding in as Phil had he would smash it...Chelsea are now the...

Crystal Palace (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

A bit of this 'drift' i think has been Guardiola's position - I could have seen him making this his last - so was not in 're build' mentality - deciding to stay 'may' change that IF he is genuinely committed (i have a feeling it protects a huge severance pay if politely asked to reconsider his...
