    FA Cup R3 | Salford City (H) | Sat 11 Jan 1745

Probably fairer than having some games using it and others not, in the same round, as they’ve done previously.

He tried to kick the rubbish out of the window in Coach A and broke some cùnts leg with it in Coach C.

Is it? LOL. That’s my well thought out theory out of the window in five minutes flat then. Might go and edit it and quietly skip the word ‘domestic’ in there somewhere.

I think they set their stall out a couple of years ago, that the message is that you need a membership to buy a ticket going forward. I don’t disagree with what you’re saying by the way. I just think they’re determined to stick with that policy. They probably reckon that in the long term, it...

    Social Media and City fans

I personally think that anybody who gets involved on football Twitter on a regular basis, probably needs help. I’d be surprised if 1% of them have ever set foot in Europe. Let alone an English football ground. You’re probably arguing with children most of the time.

    FA Cup R3 | Salford City (H) | Sat 11 Jan 1745

Every non/ lower league club in the country who gets a big cup game, attract thousands of locals, who probably support a big team but have a soft spot for their local team and will turn out for the occasion. I can’t think of many occasions where it’s led to disaster. I think people really...

£10 F&B Credit - All Season Ticket Holders

If you’re on level 1, have you tried it? I spoke to several people V Forest, who hadn’t had the email but their cards were all still loaded.

    Hadge Johnson RIP

I think I’ve read that they are doing the usual remembrance thing for blues who have passed away this year, before the Everton game on Boxing Day. I doubt they’ll be many there who don’t know at least one blue who’s left us at some point during the year. Hopefully everyone can get there nice...

£10 F&B Credit - All Season Ticket Holders

Since they switched to going in via a guy with a hand held scanner in North Stand tier 1, at the start of last season, it’s been the easiest and most hassle free season and a half since the ground opened, as far as getting in goes. Don’t think it’s ever taken more than 2 or 3 minutes from...

    2026 World Cup Discussion

England play in Albania, two days before City’s first game in the World Club thing in America. Not sure which weekend the off season is next season.

Hooliganism and Violence Maine Road 80's/early 90's

Think it was before the England, Greece game at Old Trafford. Was a regular little trick of there’s, when they were locked in. Not a day that ended well for everyone.

    Derby day trains

“Not turning up” and declining to work a booked day off aren’t really the same thing. And I’m not sure that a long term solution if you’re running a company that relies on Sunday trade, is to pay your staff such shit wages that they need to work overtime to feed the family and pay the bills.

    Derby day trains

This current problem with Northern Rail in the North West goes back about 20 years when their predecessor offered drivers and guards something like a 25% basic pay rise to sign a more ‘modern’ contract. It did away with most of the favourable terms in the old British Rail contracts. For guards...

How much is left of level two these days that is non hospitality/ 93:20?

    FA Cup R3 | Salford City (H) | Sat 11 Jan 1745

I decided that I can manage one game without getting mindlessly pissed. So have just bought six kids tickets near my season ticket place. £40 including mine for a day out for seven people really is exceptional value by any standards. I like a good moan now and again, but credit when it’s due...

    Connecting flights/ luggage question

I know a girl from New Zealand. Last time she flew home, she went: Manchester- Copenhagen- Heathrow- Kuala Lumpur- Auckland. For some reason, which I don’t understand, it worked out cheaper than booking the exact same trip but starting it from Heathrow.

Hooliganism and Violence Maine Road 80's/early 90's

West Ham and United had a friendly little boat trip over to Holland together for pre season friendlies in ‘86. Well I don’t think they ever made it as far as Holland. Think the ferry was turned around half way over.

    Seat Counters - 2024/25

Drives around in a Lamborghini these days. Not that I’ve a problem with that. If my son was as good at football as he is, I’d be tapping him up on a daily basis.

    Elton Welsby

His posts used to pop up on my Twitter feed occasionally a few years ago. I can’t recall any specifics now, other than he seemed to have gone a bit strange. Not quite Le Tiss levels but bizarre ramblings about something or other. See he’s got a book out now, so he’s probably turned normal again.

    Happy Clappers

I think there’s too distinct camps of happy clappers. There’s what I’d call the genuines. The sort who always look for the positives. Probably in life, aswell as football. The sort whose first reaction after a 4-0 defeat is… Oh well, could easy have being worse. If it wasn’t for our ‘keeper...
