Peter Schmeichel (arguably the best goalkeeper ever)
Rio Ferdinand (a twat obviously, and on the slide, but has been among the best Prem defenders for over ten years)
Patrick Vieira (imagine how good we would be now if we had him in his prime, he had everything)
Thierry Henry (has any other Prem...
I think he looks in pretty good shape. Compare and contrast:

In principal yes, and if it had been put in place 20 years ago then it would be hard to disagree with you.
However, putting it in place after the usual teams have had 20 years of Champions League money isn't fair. For the most part they benefited and prospered from being in the right place at...
I think ticket prices, along with the cost of travel, are putting a lot of people off of these games. Therefore more tickets end up on open sale, which along with our higher profile means you're more likely to get new/non-City fans there.
I don't have a Manc accent.
I have no problem with Mancs being wary of non-Manc City fans, or not understanding how someone not from the area can support the team. My only problem is being pre-judged as a day tripper/tourist/glory hunter/band wagon jumper. I went to my first City game in 1983...
QPR tickets were on sale for a long time so pretty much anyone in London who wanted one would have got one. Given our profile these days, you're therefore going to get people coming who aren't long term City fans (or City fans at all I expect) and who aren't as likely to join in the singing. As...
So because the home fans sing it, it must be true? I only heard them sing that once anyway, but that's not the point.
Out of interest, why do you think QPR are a tin pot club?
And if they were sitting quietly like they do at Fulham, you'd be having a go at them about that too. Shepherds Bush is a shit hole though, I'll give you that.
Just back from the game.
Fair play to QPR, they caused us more problems than any other team this season. We had our usual slow first 20-30 minutes but for probably the first time it carried on for the whole game. We dug deep though to grab the points when not at out best. That's a great sign...
Can't remember my BV username but no one would remember me anyway as I was about as prolific a poster as I am here! After Blueview went down the Rivals route I thought most moved on to Talkin' City (maybe not?) which was pretty busy until they shut it down for a lengthy period.
Going back a bit...
