Match Thread | Man City vs. Man United (15/12/24)

Gundogan just nothing like what he was a year ago. Sad to see.

It's Quiet 18 - Wanna ring the bell?

    Palmer. I wish!

    Marcus Rashford

Never has it been more nailed on that this **** will score today after all this.

It's Quiet 18 - Wanna ring the bell?

That XI would probably beat us on current form.

    Gary O’Neil sacked

Not surprised, given the behaviour of his players. He obviously had very little control over them. What’s Mourinho up to these days?

    Paul Pogba

    No.

    2024 - a tough year or a good one?

Great in so far as my family and I are healthy (long may it continue!) which is the most important thing. However, we could really have done without the non-dom tax rules changing, that is monumentally shit and ultimately means we may as well move abroad. The other shit thing is far too many...

    Marcus Rashford

It’ll be Chelsea, they sign everyone. Or Spurs, because they’re desperate.

It's Quiet 18 - Wanna ring the bell?

Agree about Musiala and Wirtz. I’d definitely go for Nico Williams. In an ideal world we’d offer Arsenal £200m for Saka, show who the biggest dog in this league is. Failing that personally I’d like to see us try and tempt Salah away from signing a new contract with Liverpool, or getting Leroy...

It's Quiet 18 - Wanna ring the bell?

Nico, Nusa and Marmoush, who are these people? Sound like a firm of lawyers in Rusholme. How about we go after some proper superstars that will immediately improve the starting XI and give the whole club a huge boost?

    Nico Williams

Would be an amazing signing. Skillful, quick, goal threat.

It's Quiet 18 - Wanna ring the bell?

Some creativity and goals would be nice. If Haaland has an off day or no service we offer zero goal threat. Savinho, Grealish, Bernardo, Doku, Gundogan, Kovacic - lucky if we get 10 goals between them in the season. Bloody awful.

    Happy Clappers

I guess people are quicker to criticise than praise, myself included. However despite frequently moaning about shit results, one thing I never do is criticise individual players. No-one goes out there trying to have a bad game. The thing that frustrates me is the club’s ‘nice’ approach...

Juventus (A) | CL | Post Match Thread

If they care so much they need to get the damn cheque books out because the team as it is this season is not likely to get CL next season, and is certainly not winning it this year. You can’t compete on past glories, or worry about saving money. If we want to get back to the level of legitimate...

Juventus (A) | CL | Post Match Thread

Even if we lost every game for the rest of this season Pep’s job should be guaranteed. He can only work with what is available. Most of our best players are out injured, those remaining are overplayed or too old or just not good enough. This is all down to shitting the bed in the transfer...

Juventus (A) | CL | Post Match Thread

It’s not Pep. It’s on the players. Most are too old, or too slow, or injured. We need to grow some massive fucking bollocks and spend hundreds of millions on fast, direct, powerful players already doing well at other clubs. No fucking about with net spend shit, we’re not a fucking bank. No...

Juventus (A) | CL | Post Match Thread

Expected really, the way we’ve been playing. Form has fallen off a cliff, winning mentality has gone and in many ways the style of football we were so successful at has been superseded by pace and power. Until we sign better players that have these attributes we’ll continue to struggle.
