    FA Cup Semi-Final | City v Chelsea pre-match thread

Why all the negativity? I remember City thrashing Chelsea 6-0 not too long ago. I fancy a similar outcome with our youngsters stealing the show. A Bobb hattrick perhaps.

    Real Madrid (H) - Wed 17th April, 20:00 | CL | Pre-Match Thread

According to BBC website, both semi-finals will be played on the same evening. That cannot be right as surely one on Tues and one on Weds makes better sense.

My only concern is avoiding red cards. Look what happened to Barcelona last night.

You must be joking. The only EPL player with more starts this season are goalkeepers. Rodri definitely needs and deserves a short break in order to maintain his high standards.

It wouldn't surprise me if the Madrid hotel staff had something to do with it.

Bearing in mind how many goals he scored against Luton in the FA Cup recently, Haaland has to start. Seeing him resting on the bench would give Luton a huge lift. Personally I would bench him on Wednesday instead as Rudiger is just too much of a beast for our young Viking.

No KDB nor Bernardo! Have you forgotten to take your meds?

    Injuries - 2023/24 | Ederson cleared to return to training (p 146)

Do you honestly think that Bellingham will join a League 1/2 side?

Both games? They have only played once. Hopefully one or both may get rested/rotated for the second game.

Am really looking forward to Wembley being completely decked out in sky blue in May, perfick.

Champions League - QF: Real Madrid, SF: Arsenal/Bayern, (H) for 2nd legs

The Sun has really excelled itself with this headline...saying that Arse have got a horror draw while City get the glamour tie! If the draw had been opposite, the headline would have been the same. https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/26707993/champions-league-quarter-final-draw-arsenal-man-city/

    Newcastle United (H) - Sat 16th March, 17:30 | FA Cup | Pre-Match Thread

If Gordon starts on Saturday, his England call-up and recent injury may hopefully deter him from making any crunching tackles or fast runs.

Another yellow card for Rodri. Is he near a suspension?

Full strength and yet Ake omitted!

    FC Copenhagen - Wed 6th Mar, 20:00 | PL | Pre-Match Thread

Absolute nonsense. Copenhagen FC will treat this as their cup final. With a weakened side (hopefully), City should be happy with a draw and no injuries.

    FC Copenhagen - Wed 6th Mar, 20:00 | PL | Pre-Match Thread

Personally I would like to see Walker, Stones, Rodri & Bernardo rested. Phil was rested recently I recall. The Viking needs more shooting practice. KDB should be OK after his long layoff.

    United (H) | PL | Sun 3rd March, 15:30 | Pre-Match Thread

Sorry Delboy but you are talking nonsense. They may be inferior to City but the Rags are currently better than Palace & Everton. I would be delighted with another 3-0 with no injuries or red cards.

Completely wrong as usual, Mr. Plonker. City will win 3-1 after a shaky start.

You don't think City will score? Even I believe that to be unlikely.

Luton Town (A) | FA Cup | Post Match Thread

We conceded 14 shots from Luton of which 8 were on target. Could this be a record for the modern City? Fortunately the Viking had his shooting boots on, but we really need to sort out our defence before meeting Liverpool at Anfield.
