When Pep leaves, and the Haaland celebrity circus moves on we will look back on these years with fond memories. We have potentially a maximum 17 games left and every one of them has huge magnitude - you think fans of Newcastle/Villa/Everton/Spurs/United would swap with us? Of course they would within a heartbeat.

Having experienced very many barren years as a Blue of 46 years I can confirm it is far better to be in these games and have a crowded fixture list, than not!
 
This logic (being allocated a number on the previous rounds draw) I don't think follows through from previous rounds.... then again maybe it does. Still, I think the common belief (maybe incorrectly) is that United seem to always get the best draws (though I accept the Liverpool draw kind of argues against this). I still think it is corrupt, but thank you for being the oracle we all rely and depend upon.

If you took the time to understand how it worked it would make sense. Your allocated numbers based on when your tie was drawn in the last round-we were the last tie drawn for the 1/4 so were ball 4. It's not alphabetical and it's not new. Failing that you could have checked the 1st post in this thread that has shown the numbers for days!

Said to my lad as we left on Saturday how mental it would have been at MR if we had got to a semi final.

Everyone just walking out as if we had just got beat by Mansfield in the Auto Windscreens.

We need to embrace these days, they wont be bettered imo.

It’s the one downside of supporting such a great team I guess.

I’ve celebrated draws against United more than winning actual major trophies these days.

It’s not entitlement or a lack of humility.

It’s just the inevitable result when 90%+ of games are either

As expected, no big deal.

Or

Disaster.
