    27 | Matheus Nunes - 2023/24

I know your point is about rules and not what our players should be doing, but just to say that that would be the Barcelona who are notorious for mismanaging their players fitness, and ruining some very promising careers in the process.

    52 | Oscar Bobb - 2024/25

Is there though? Bobb is just making his first steps in senior football whereas Doku, Gvardiol etc have been playing regular first team football for years already. They might be similar ages, but they're not at similar stages in their career.

    52 | Oscar Bobb - 2024/25

Hope he starts the season in the team. Give him that chance, then it's up to him to take it. Every time he's on the pitch he looks like he has the magic 'it'. Even in the quieter games, he looks like a senior player that's having a quieter game.

Playing sport as you get older

It's tough to admit to yourself but you just have to understand that you can't do it like you used to. There's a reason why in most sports you won't find many pro's still going over 40. Lower intensity, less frequent, and crucially proper recovery (diet, rest and exercises).

    Altercation at Terminal 2

Yeah i've watched both videos multiple times.

    Altercation at Terminal 2

Nah, police officers can't be stamping on peoples heads when they're lying tasered on the ground. Zero sympathy for the guy on the ground, big sympathy for the officer in the heat of the moment, but once it's in the public on video, you have to do some kind of reprimand.

    Altercation at Terminal 2

Speaking as a lefty liberal, hummus/lentil eating, sandal wearing whatever They deserved everything they got. Police officer that did the kick and stamp should probably get some kind of punishment I suppose, but it should be a token one.

    Scottish Football Thread | 2024/25

St Mirren pumping Valur 0-0 so far (should be about 4-0). Definitely got the physical advantage. Probably going to end 1-0 Valur.

    Portugal v France - Fri 5th July, 20:00 | Euro 2024 Quarter-Final

Pretty much the only match I could have watched but didn't, because I knew it would be turgid shite with two teams and zero charisma on display. Just caught the shootout (also devoid of drama or any kind of fun, bar Ronaldos face at the end)

What do you keep under your bed ?

    Money laundering is a crime.

    Dani Olmo

Maybe the negative opinions come from the fact that we've played Leipzig like 6 times in the last few years and he's either been injured or un-influencial. Let's be honest, most people aren't watching the Bundesliga or the Spanish NT. Like many, this was probably the first time I've really seen...

    Players who might improve us

I was just thinking that same thing watching this game. The only time I've seen him play though...

    Switzerland v Italy - Sat 29th June, 17:00 | Euro 2024 Round of 16

I think Akanji might be becoming my favourite player (when he's not shooting).

Has club football killed international football ?

Nope. For a start international football, especially the big tournaments, capture the interest of a much wider section of society than those that follow the day to day grind of club football. Secondly, the quality of football is definitely lower than the top club competitions, but it's not...

    Scotland v Hungary - Sun 23rd June, 20:00 | Euro 2024 Group A

If Moyes wants it then we might make the change. Since the trauma caused by the Vogts experiment we'll most likely be sticking with Scottish managers for a while. If Moyes isn't interested I suspect Clarke will stay on if he doesn't resign himself. Theres not many other options.

    Scotland v Hungary - Sun 23rd June, 20:00 | Euro 2024 Group A

I'm not even really upset at this, because we got exactly what we deserved from the tournament. Thought we were awful in all three matches. Clarke has done a really good job generally, but he failed in this tournament. It's been clear for a while that teams have figured out how to play against...

    Jarrad Branthwaite

Tapping up isn't a thing any more. Imagine conducting long negotiations for 10's of millions, really complex deals, only for the player to go nah. We do it this way, as does everyone with an ounce of sense. Find out if the player is interested, how much they want, then you go to the club.

    Jarrad Branthwaite

I'm not watching many Everton matches, but when they played us I thought he was their best player by an absolute mile and stood out as the only one capable of showing some composure on the ball under pressure. Looked to me like he'd slot into our team no problem whatsoever. Now I'm hoping he's...
