PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

That and the fact City’s lead KC told everyone who saw the email that this was the case. And the fact that multiple other senior sources say the same. It isn’t a strongly suggest situation. It is a fact. It may have changed since Friday but it is fact as of then. It is that simple.

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

It is still happening. I can think of at least 2 examples in the last few days both on here and elsewhere. It is all nonsense. Pannick himself wasn't lying - the parties don't know what the decision says. Anyone suggesting that they have heard anything more than impressions from the hearing (and...

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Yes. That is the view of the parties too. "Don't shoot the messenger" was literally written for this

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

I've never once falsely claimed it was out or in the hands of the parties. On the contrary, I have told people (correctly) that it was not. My opinion that it is imminent is shared by the parties but nobody knows exactly when (or they didn't when I last had a corroborating sources last week). It...

No this is conflating cash (CFG has put cash in and SM before them). The case is that, in short, the published numbers are false. Clubs raising money to pay bills and invest is normal as they are almost all loss making every year.

    Spurs Thread | 2025/26

Cash and PSR are completely different. This is just cash - cash can be put in via a loan (with costs inc interest) or equity (no ongoing cost). All clubs inc City have had cash put in by owners outside of PSR issues.

Because I speak to a lot of people.

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Neither Spurs nor Arsenal will have much feel at all (if any) for how it went.
  9. S

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Coincidence. Nobody (outside of the panel) knows what the decision says as nobody has seen it.

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

I think they have shown that they are not too bothered about the consequences of certain actions whether they cause Civil War or not. This includes APT in itself, the decision to pursue the Amended APT changes, the decision to process further changes against City, Villa and Newcastle's protests...

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

I doubt there will be any announcement - it has already been renewed

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Clearly I was talking about the idea there is ongoing settlement discussions/City suing Big 6. But as it happens I don't think the PL Board are focussed on "Civil War" or that there is a general US v City/Newcastle animosity. It is far more nuanced than that.

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

People can keep pressing this nonsense but it simply is not true

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Indeed. None of the above is anything to do with City 115.

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

It doesn't. Again perhaps you haven't read it. It absolutely does not demonstrate or even provide any evidence at all that Govt interfered with the Supreme Court. It doesn't even make an allegation of that. “Correlation does not necessarily equate to causation, and we have no wish to level any...

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

By the way this article headlined in this reply (https://www.scottishlegal.com/articles/uk-supreme-court-decisions-giving-troubling-impression-of-successful-political-pressure) is completely irrelevant to the current matter

The IFR won't be involved in that either. It is simply not its role or purpose. Read the Act to learn more about what it can and can't do. Its remit is specific. It could get involved in deeming owners to be unfit though but I don't think you have that in mind. They are not a mediator.

Not before an appeal and even then pretty unlikely to be permitted.

Not been invited in as there are no relevant stories to discuss (unless you can think of any financial or legal cases where we have news?)
