PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

I doubt either the Lewis or Levy departures were directly related to our case, and certainly not part of any settlement as you put it. I agree that Masters' position becomes untenable though in the event of us being largely cleared.
I imagine he will want to go.
Untenable pressure applied by a handful of clubs is, perhaps, tolerable temporarily as long as integrity is put onto the shelf, but there will HAVE to be a fall-guy. It is either us, or it is him.

He'll spin it as him wholly investigating alleged corruption and thankfully confirming the integrity of the league. I'd like to think he'll go but seems an easy thing to worm out of
Yeah, wouldn't surprise me although I think pressure is growing on him regardless as there's a number of clubs seemingly unhappy with him.

I have been wondering about the Lewis and Levy "resignations". I assume, as many on here, that these were part of the settlement. If so, Masters decapitation must surely be part of the same deal but will have been agreed on to take place after the 115 outcome. Either, "After the successful outcome of the case, I have felt that my work here is complete..." or more likely, "Following the disappointing ruling, Richard and the PL board have mutually agreed that he can now move on from his role...".
All this conspiracy nonsense us getting well out of control.

Saying you don't mean to sound disrespectful.
Shows you know it was ?

No, not at all.

This whole case has largely been commented on by people who know fuck all and provide no update. It's been part of the process. Follow this thread enough and you'll have seen that.

I'm suggesting Talksport would probably want to talk about it in what is otherwise a quiet week of sport so I wondered if he'd been invited on, even if there's nothing to actually say.

it depends on the nature of the clearance, if the board find that there is nothing to answer and the evidence provided at cas was wholy clearing , he will have to be asked why such a forensic witch hunt was necessary. allied to the fact that there have been actual documented instances of wrong doing which under his stewardship have been largely brushed aside as being to far back to investigate or just swept under the rug entirely and IF he had any integrity he would go, he however does not have any integitry.
