Getting rid of our most successful ever manager and perhaps the greatest ever. A manager all his peers hold in the highest esteem, recognised as the best. Yeah, that’s definitely the answer.

This is an aging squad, even with some on the bench. Age in itself isn’t necessarily an issue but we have lost all our hunger. For me that’s the huge difference between this and other seasons and explains the absolute lapses in focus that have led to mistakes game after game after game.
