You literally said he got pelters for a few weeks ‘and that was it’. Your words not mine. How else can those words be interpreted other than it stopped? Now you appear to be backtracking from what you chose to post, but simultaneously going on the attack, which is amusing if nothing else.

Yes, he’ll doubtless lead a cloistered life somewhere abroad at the end of this. It will provide a sanctuary of sorts I guess, but it will be a form of imprisonment for him without a doubt.

I think you are not capable of objective thought on the subject if you actually believe that the pelters towards Andrew stopped after a few weeks. There were two TV dramas produced about his interview ffs.

Don’t see how either of those things can happen. The civil claim was settled on a full and final basis and the complainant in any criminal proceedings is dead. Unless something else comes out of the woodwork, litigation of the Guiffre issue is surely at an end.

The suggestion that the negativity towards Andrew started three weeks ago is simply wrong. That interview was six years ago and he got absolute and widespread pelters for it at the time and every day since.

When you say worse, do you mean in a way that is less deserving? Because that’s unquestionably correct, but I’m not sure they’ve been subject to more negative comment (without there being any conviction or judicial finding) than Andrew which I think was @Chippy_boy point. I feel there is a...

If it doesn’t get released today then I think it’s definitely going to be next month at the earliest.

    Kerb crawling ****.

The notion that Andrew isn’t being subject to a form of significant punishment is wrong and actually underlines the binary and simplistic thinking that some people deploy when it comes to the subject of crime and punishment. His life will have been made hugely worse since that photo was...

He’s (understandably) quite guarded about what he says. He’s treading a very delicate line tbf.

Why is Blackpool considered a Holiday for people who cant afford holidays abroad?

Went there earlier this year and it was looking even more down at heel than the previous times I’d been. Think it’s one of the worst boroughs in the country for social deprivation. And the same thought occurred to me as it did the OP. Certainly not a cheap place to be if you’ve got to kill time.

His constant moaning always used to get massively on my tits. The **** was watching the game for free, and getting paid to do so, and all he did was moan from start to finish. Said some seriously disparaging things about City too. ****.

Guiffre wasn’t forced to take the money. If all she’d wanted was her day in court she would have had it. So it’s not quite as straightforward as you paint it. The trial would have been a disaster for the Queen’s family whatever the outcome, and whatever the veracity of the claim, so I don’t...

    Russian invasion of Ukraine

That’s the wrong question. Barnes Wallace’s genius was probably of its time, and he might not be anywhere near as successful with it, if he had to apply his genius today. The skill set for success has unquestionably changed. The correct question is: what would he think of what he’s ultimately...
