    Community Shield - Arsenal (N) | Sun 6th Aug - 16:00

My view on this is, football fans are paying the price for the FA Folly that is Wembley. The mystique of the place is being used to fund FA jollies and we as fans do not matter because we do not have FA accredited honorarium. I despise the place, it is a football stadium that is dreadfully...

    Community Shield - Arsenal (N) | Sun 6th Aug - 16:00

I am certain you are a lovely person, but bringing another persons politics into a thread about a moral stance is somewhat provocative. Don't be like Worsleyweb, he lacks the ability to consider two sides of a discussion such is his immorality, be better than that. It is quite telling that...

    Community Shield - Arsenal (N) | Sun 6th Aug - 16:00

I am not going, fuck em and fuck the club too, they care more about optics than fans. There was a chance to make a real stand against idiotic match timings and now its gone and for what, a glorified fucking friendly.

    Pilger film about the NHS.

Huge swathes of the NHS are now run by private companies, it is being privatised by stealth. For instance Virgin Care owns 24 GP-led provider companies that provide NHS services through networks of GP surgeries; and community-based NHS services, but they use NHS branding. The NHS spends...

    Pilger film about the NHS.

Ah! that old line, pushed continually by the government, whilst being true in cash terms, it does not allow for inflation which means in real terms the NHS is chronically underfunded But you know that don't you pal.

    Pilger film about the NHS.

The NHS has reciprocal arrangements with other countries and most countries will offer A&E care. I spoke to a Jordanian woman once who was being released from Salford Royal, they had helped her at A&E but would not perform the surgery she needed and she was going back to Jordan for it. I am...

creating growth only not Investment is better for a country and achieves greater economic equality

Continuous economic growth is predicated on there being infinite resources. Therefore infinite growth is impossible because resources are finite. An MIT research team produced a paper called “The Limits to Growth” focused on five basic factors that they claimed determined, and therefore...

Which town (or city) stands out as the least aesthetically pleasing away day you've visited?

I would rather not walk through a shopping precinct to watch a football match at a shit stadium. Each to there own though.

    Boris Johnson

For the last few years I have been telling people he is a narcissist, this just backs it up. He remains in the spotlight, he craves attention, Narcissistic personality disorder is a mental health condition in which people have an unreasonably high sense of their own importance. They need and...

    30th April 1994 - The Kippax's Last Stand

Colin Bells comeback game, he came on at half time. The noise the Kippax made that day still sends shivers down my spine. The FA Cup QF replay v Everton, I am pretty sure I went straight from school in my uniform so we could get above the tunnel and make sure we actually got in as it was pay...

Scrapping VAT and removing charitable schools - Labour policy - do you agree with it ?

If you scrap fee paying schools completely, turn Eton etc into hotels then that will surely concentrate the minds of the people with the levers of power to make sure state education is the very best for every kid and we actually end up with a meritocracy. The likes of Rees Mogg would not want...

Scrapping VAT and removing charitable schools - Labour policy - do you agree with it ?

As far as i was aware VAT being harmonised by the EU, they supported a tax on the least well off, they are a neo liberal club mind. Now we are out if the political will is there it could be scrapped and everyone in effect would get a pay rise.
