City launch legal action against the Premier League | Club & PL reach settlement | Proceedings dropped (p1147)

It’s a bit worrying how The Premier League, having been told by an independent panel that they behaved unlawfully and abused their position of power, seem to think they can just keep the old rules with a few tweaks here and there and are actually being supported by UK media outlets. It’s like...

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Wouldn’t surprise me - the Premier League is proving itself to be a real bunch of corrupt cunts and the right wing media is hand in hand with them - if we win the case they have all got too much to lose.

City launch legal action against the Premier League | Club & PL reach settlement | Proceedings dropped (p1147)

The panel found that the God that is The Premier League was found to have abused its dominant position - hence the bully is The Premier League.

City launch legal action against the Premier League | Club & PL reach settlement | Proceedings dropped (p1147)

If both parties have to agree to the outcome being made public then either side could have won hence either side may not want the outcome to be made public.

City launch legal action against the Premier League | Club & PL reach settlement | Proceedings dropped (p1147)

Is this just more bullshit from the press? What makes folk think there is something in it?

Away fans / tourists in home sections

Exactly - there were no ‘tourists’ that wanted tickets for the game. Not as many folk constantly holding their phones up recording the game. Won’t be the same for the next home game against Fulham.

Away fans / tourists in home sections

I’ve no idea how away fans are getting their hands on tickets in the home end but they definetely are. They are sitting amongst City fans for both Premier League and Champions League games. Tonight’s crowd was different to those games. It was nowhere near sold out and I don’t think you will...

Away fans / tourists in home sections

The club is only interested in maximising profits. They aren’t bothered who’s sat in front of you or behind you. As long as that seat isn’t empty they don’t care.

    Do haberdasheries still sell onions?

I remember going in a small shop in St Annes about 25 years ago called B & M Bargains. It sold everything but the kitchen sink and folk loved it. And just look at them now……….

Wearing your City top in public

I’m in my 60’s as well but I’m afraid I don’t have your confidence. Do you go to and from home matches on public transport then?

Wearing your City top in public

Thank you. The feeling of safety in numbers disappears when you head off from the crowd and you’re on your own and nowhere near the City centre. I think age has a lot to do with it as well. When I was younger I always wore City colours to home games and didn’t sense any danger at all.

Wearing your City top in public

It is sad. On match days about half the folk that I meet before and/or after a home game don’t wear City colours for one reason or another.

    Ticket Pricing for Inter (H)

I’m a season ticket holder and I’m in all the cup schemes so I basically have a ticket for every home game but occasionally I have to miss a match for different reasons. I don’t like to leave my seat empty. I was wondering, other that the Ticket Exchange, if there were any other ways to give my...

Rate The Drinks And Food (Prices) At The Etihad

Inside the ground on Wednesday night I had an hot dog and a pint of lager and it was over a tenner with my season ticket discount. The hot dog was really nice but the lager wasn’t. The price didn’t bother me but if I’d taken my wife and 2 kids then I might be thinking it was a tad expensive.

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Unless I’ve read it wrong Lord Pannick - aka Norris Cole from Corrie - is now on 8 grand an hour……

Wearing your City top in public

I’m not a bullshitter or a fantasist. I’m a realist. Do you ever travel on your own on public transport? If you did then you’d know what I mean. You sound like a gobshite of the highest order.

    Ticket Pricing for Inter (H)

So Facebook is acting as the Ticket Exchange but you still have to use the exchange to transfer the ticket. And the seller can ask any price or give it away. So if I didn’t want to go to a game I couldn’t just send a photo of my season ticket for that game to my mate - they would have to...

    Ticket Pricing for Inter (H)

So how does the recipient get the season ticket holders ticket? Do they have to be a Citizen and transfer the ticket to ‘friends and family’ on the Ticket Exchange after being paid for the ticket or is there an easier way?

Wearing your City top in public

I wear my City tops practically every day but I never wear colours when I go to a home game. I use public transport to travel to and from games and quite often I travel on my own and you never know who you will meet and what they may be carrying. There’s so many nutters about now I’d just rather...

    New CL Format Thoughts

Roll the clock back 20 years and City would have loved more places to be available to clubs like ourselves to be part of the Champions League. Now we are top table regulars we don’t hold the same view. We just want to get to the quarter final stage as quickly as possible.
