Season Tickets - 2025/26 | Changes to ticket transfer this season (p101)

It seems like it’s entirely dependent on the lottery of which operator you speak to. I was going to buy one last year, two seats and one row in front of me. Literally within touching distance. But they were absolutely adamant that it had to be the very next seat. So I sacked it, as I didn’t...

    Punk and New Wave thread.

That’s awful news. I certainly wouldn’t go as far as to say I ‘knew’ him but on the many occasions I saw Conflict back in the day, I’d have little chats with Colin and the other lads after the gigs, a good few times. It’s weird because I’ve never once been to any of the old band’s gigs...

    Stadium Turnstile Upgrades

I don’t really care but the staff thing makes no sense. I’ve never once seen a member of staff entering the ground via the regular turnstiles. Only place I’ve ever seen them coming in are in W entrance, which doesn’t even have a turnstile. And presumably the ‘late’ gates at the other three...

    TV Series

I think you need to watch it with the right mindset. If you approach it hoping for gritty underworld realism and start getting concerned with its lack of authenticity. Then you probably won’t enjoy it. If you take it for what it is. A bit of silly, totally over the top pantomime, then it’s...

Season Tickets - 2025/26 | Changes to ticket transfer this season (p101)

Jesus, this sounds like a right shit show. I know people in the past who’ve been banned and didn’t even know about it though, so it doesn’t totally surprise me. Best of luck. After paying full whack for 31 games, they should be giving you a ST for fuck all.

Why hasn't Pep got a knighthood?

He has got an OBE, CBE, and an MBE. I read somewhere that etiquette dictates that you don’t get a Knighthood within so many years of one or all of the above. I’m sure he’ll become Sir Kevin for real when the time is right.

    TV Series

I preferred the second series more, partly because of its gentler pace and continuous story line. As opposed to the first series, which was more a succession of individual stories told a frantic pace. It’s hard to be too specific without giving anything away. But I enjoyed the way the...

    TV Series

Got round to watching the final episode of series two of The Last of Us. I know it’s not very popular on here. But I enjoyed it. Not the greatest show ever but I’m a fan anyway. Probably going to be a long wait but I’ll definitely be on the look out for the third series. Others have said...

    Stadium Turnstile Upgrades

Jesus, I think that’s more than one step. How many wanted criminals are you estimating turn up to an average game?

If the only options in the Family Stand are in the front few rows, I’d pass and stay put. You’ll get soaked to the skin for 17 games and sun stroke at the other 2.

    Away tickets/segregation for better views.

There was an old guy near me, who paid £165 presumably, who spent the whole game sat sideways on his seat, watching the game on the screen behind the goal.

You guys who should have had an email but haven’t. Your junior membership is definitely still active? I only ask because unless they’re on auto renew, they don’t, in my experience give you any reminder to renew, or notification that the membership has expired.

Drunk man denied boarding on Easyjet flight at Manchester Airport

If his family and friends are anything like him, he’s probably a local celebrity by now and the toast of the town.

Come on guys. Couple of poor posts recently, giving shit away. Let’s keep away from that please.

    Clubs’ "traditional" away kit colours

Not quite a one off. I stumbled across this the other day. Tottenham - Away.

    VAR Discussion Thread | 2024/25

From memory the first time the term ‘professional foul’ came to light was after Phil Thompson brought down John Robertson just outside the box in the 1978 League Cup Final Replay. The referee gave a match winning penalty and Thompson was crying to anyone who’d listen that he’d committed a...

Less than that. Possibly just Salford and Plymouth I think, unless I used it for someone else and have forgotten.

Season Tickets - 2025/26 | Changes to ticket transfer this season (p101)

I’ve had one. Ring between 4pm Thursday and noon Friday it says. Looks like they want to shove everyone down the sides. Bit weird that they’re selling junior tickets but claiming there are non available in the Family Stand, when we know there are literally hundreds of seats in level 1 that...

    VPN

A little trick that I was told is that if you watch YouTube, like my kids do a lot of the time. If you switch the VPN over to Albania, it cuts out all the annoying adverts.

    VAR Discussion Thread | 2024/25

Not really worth comparing anything prior to about the 1990s with modern football as far as discipline goes. Sendings off used to be as rare as rocking horse shit and were reserved for attempted murder and above. Sendings off now weren’t even a foul in the 70s & 80s most of the time.
