    Seat Counters - 2024/25

So is there anyway of counting EXACTLY how many tickets they’ve sold in total?

I wonder what they paid for them? That’s some commitment to watch a League Cup Final and then three years of trying to claw it back, bit by bit.

Season Tickets - 2025/26 | Changes to ticket transfer this season (p101)

The whole of the North Stand has no availability at all? I find that a bit hard to believe.

    Seat Counters - 2024/25

In case there is anyone panicking that their tickets haven’t been emailed through yet. I got all mine bar one emailed yesterday. Still nothing today for the outstanding one. So checked on my account and it was available to download straight into your wallet from the tickets section there.

The thread is open for business now on the tickets and transfers forum.

    TV Series

No it’s all good. I don’t necessarily disagree with you anyway. I think I’m a bit stubborn and once I’ve seen enough of a show to decide that I like it, I become a bit possessive and won’t hear anything bad said about it, no matter how shit it might get. Not that I think The Last of Us, is...

    Seat Counters - 2024/25

Interesting that concessions are half price. I can never remember anything other than a cursory tenner off here and there for any of our games. Possibly the Football League setting the prices rather than the FA?

    Seat Counters - 2024/25

£285 to sit above the corner flag. They’re pretty much the equivalent seats you get at Southampton last week for £30 and other away grounds, where they stick you in the corner because they’re considered the shittest seats.

    TV Series

I get what your saying. But I would say, people very quickly adapt to situations that might have seemed unimaginable just a short time previously. And you’ve got to remember that the younger characters were born into that world. They’ve never known anything different. It’s difficult to think...

Peter Sullivan - freed after 38 years in jail for a murder he didnt commit

The fact his DNA isn’t on police records, suggests he either stopped at one and has never been arrested for anything since, or he’s long since dead. Think I know which one is more likely.

Peter Sullivan - freed after 38 years in jail for a murder he didnt commit

The Parole Board did actually produce a paper just last year, with guidance about prisoners who maintain their innocence. It should, in theory at least, lead to a clearer pathway for such people serving life sentences. But it’s always going to be incredibly difficult to convince the parole...

Peter Sullivan - freed after 38 years in jail for a murder he didnt commit

Reading between the lines of the brief BBC article, it suggests he might have been a bit ‘simple’ for want of a better word. When you think about known cases like Timothy Evans and Stefan Kiszko, it makes you wonder how many other similar cases over the years that the police may have got an...

    TV Series

Are you talking about the difference between the two series? I think the main character was 14 in the first series and 19 in the second. And the actress who played her roughly 18 & then 20. It must have been very challenging for her to play the same character as a child and then a fully...

Peter Sullivan - freed after 38 years in jail for a murder he didnt commit

Well that’s not the way the law has ever worked. But it can always change I suppose.

Peter Sullivan - freed after 38 years in jail for a murder he didnt commit

That would involve introducing the death penalty for minors of course. Which is an opinion you’re entitled to but I’m not sure would gain much support.

Peter Sullivan - freed after 38 years in jail for a murder he didnt commit

Interesting that he was denied legal advice for two days after his arrest as the police thought it would ‘hinder the investigation’ During which time he confessed to the murder. And even though he later withdrew the confession, the jury were still allowed to be made aware of it. Not everything...

Peter Sullivan - freed after 38 years in jail for a murder he didnt commit

Saved living cost deductions, was scrapped in 2023. So, no.

    New Model Army

Conflict and New Model Army had beef with each other. When NMA were on Top of the Pops, the lead singer wore a T-Shirt that said “Only Stupid Bastards Use Heroin” They then, or maybe they already had, signed with EMI. Conflict then brought out an EP called “Only Stupid Bastards Use EMI”...

Best place/hotel to stay for the final, and best pubs to drink (not the Torch)

Sorry, assumed it would be a family kind of thing. Probably a child friendly pub then is your best bet. If it was me, I’d be looking at somewhere outside of town. Apart from Wetherspoons, you don’t really seem to see kids in pubs in town much.
