For the first game, I had a ticket, my best mate didn’t.
I was 18.
Went out on the pop Friday night and, should have met some other mates who were driving, but I copped off, so I was late getting to their house for 6am.
So, smelling of a night out and some bedroom action, I drove my clapped out Vauxhall Viva, probably still worst for wear and, somehow made it to a car park outside Wembley.
We were immediately jumped on by a ticket tout and for the princely sum of £10, my mate had a ticket.
We then had a 500 a side game of kick the shite out of anybody football match in the car park, with a dozen balls before the cops broke it up and you all know what happened next.
Somehow I drove home on umpteen coffees!!
For the replay I was on an outward bound course in the lakes, but my supervisor was a blue.
Amazingly he let me go, so long as I was back by the morning.
My Dad queued up at Maine Road for tickets and I made the long drive, again in my clapped out Viva, to and from Wembley.
Hated Spurs ever since!

They could just give all the rest to the ticket partners tomorrow night and they would sell to tourists. I don’t see the problem with that now. Everyone has had chance to buy now.

£285 to sit above the corner flag. They’re pretty much the equivalent seats you get at Southampton last week for £30 and other away grounds, where they stick you in the corner because they’re considered the shittest seats.

Why would they do that ?
That is exactly where all the return tickets that keep getting added on to the system are coming from.
They too are struggling to sell them to people overseas, due to the short notice and they have a deadline to hand them back to City.
 
I trust the overnight figure (274) but thereafter we can't tell if the change is real or not because someone has been hoarding tickets. Given the number remaining is immaterial, and there's no window, I don't see the point of tracking it through the day.

But you know what will happen, last tickets sell out to tourists and some on here will moan about it that they didn't get a ticket
On a side note I couldn't go on saturday then find out I could but I'm not buying a ticket at 255 or 280 fuck that, I watch on tv
