    Gareth Taylor sacked

I think the story is is we've been shit this season apart from in one game and all of the players hate him.

Yeah, thoughts and prayers with Alanna Kennedy who has only just moved to Angel City which is the team he's been linked with

Couldn't agree more. I fearing another exodus of players if he keeps his job but I think there still time to salvage the situation if the players knew he was leaving

I don't personally think all managers in women's football HAVE to be women, but they do have to understand that women's football is different and they do have to be of the right disposition to manage an entirely female workforce. If its someone who just sees the women's game as a stepping stone...

    WSL - WHU (A) Tue 05/03 KO 19:00

We've regressed in every area of the pitch this season despite decent recruitment. Our midfield is non existent. It's just Yui and then loads of forwards. Aleixandri has been shite for months and still seems undropable despite being in her way out at the end of the season anyway. All of the...

Liverpool (H) | PL | Post Match Thread

I think we will scrape top 4 anyway, but I don't really see why lack of champs league football would stop us from attracting top players. It didnt stop us in the past and it hasn't stopped our rivals either.

    Right back options

Guess that's the same as any other transfer though (and tbh we know we have plenty of deadwood on the way out). At the end of the day, if he's deemed better than other players who are non HG, it shouldn't matter that he's using up a non HG spot despite being club trained.

    Right back options

Does it actually matter whether they're HG or association trained etc so long as they're good enough? Like, can he not just take a non HG spot?

Real Madrid (A) | CL | Post Match Thread

Personally think we have to win the FA cup for there to be remotely any upside now. Sure we're in transition but I think we're beyond that stage of being a side where a decent cup run is something to get too excited about. Plus looking at the teams who are left in it, i think being knocked out...

Real Madrid (A) | CL | Post Match Thread

Can't believe how bad last night was. But tbh, after how poor we were throughout the league phase, it beggars belief that we were still even in it. Absolutely crap format and a competition we've had no business being involved in since about 4 games in. Not judging our January business just...

Yeah it's always appeared as though Weigman rated her more highly than Taylor did. Will be great to see how she gets on over there when the NWSL season starts next month. Think her manager over there is the former Barcelona manager.

    James Trafford

Agree. It seems like they're more bothered about breaking clean sheet records than actually winning games and achieving promotion. Not saying Trafford is a good or a bad keeper, but you can't judge him just off numbers given the way the team is setting up.

That's the thing isn't it. I can imagine it's not too difficult to have a clash of personality with a confident and outspoken player like Lucy Bronze (not that there's anything wrong with a player being cnofident). But people like Roebuck and Esme Morgan seemed like such easy characters to work...

Good interview with Ellie Roebuck today about her recovery from a stroke. Really glad to see her enjoying life again. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/videos/c3w161d0wn8o Couldn't help but notice this particular quote about you know who. I can't believe the club hierarchy aren't seeing...

Im also worried about how we keep everyone satisfied once they're all fit (although we do have to factor in that long term injuries are still common and it wil be rare for everyone to be fit). I don't think it should be hard to give everyone minutes as (as with our men's team) a lot of those...

CL Quarter Final MCFC v Chelsea

Ah yeah the fan allocations will be out later on but UEFA did a first release a couple of weeks ago so me and my pals got ours then (they're mostly Arsenal fans though)

I'd already said there isn't an example where it would be OK the other way around before you asked. That's why I asked the "if I said it..." crew to name to explain a situation where they would feel the need to say it. There is no comparable situation the other way around because systemic racism...

I mean you've demonstrated how limited your critical thinking skills are perfectly across your last two posts so I wouldn't expect much to make sense to you.

Well I'm white so I can't really think of a situation where the tables are turned like that. I haven't really experienced black people holding power over me in that way. Guess the closest comparison for me, as a woman, would be saying something like "why are you being such a man about things?"...
