Our performances have not matched the number of wins we've stacked up. Listen to Bompastor's post game comments and you'll hear her say time and again that we have to play better. For example, we were excellent out of possession against you at The Bridge but absolutely shocking with the ball. Even the pass leading to our first goal was really poor. The ball was obvious and easy, Hamano had time and acres of space to play it into, but badly under hit the delivery. After more than one game Lucy Bronze has outright stated that, "We won't win the Champions League playing like that."

The talk about us being a dominant team is supported by the results, but not by the performances. With Hemp all but certain to be back, Fowler and Miedema in a really productive spell, Kerolin looking better with each game, Shaw ready and angry, and reports that Greenwood might not be so far away either, these games are a very, very steep hill for Chelsea to climb. Any Blues fans thinking we will get out of these games without defeat is in fantasy land.

I've read some pessimistic comments from City fans in this thread but I think those views underestimate your team and overestimate ours.
 
Needed a full strength team to have any chance. Sadly 3 of our 5 best players - Hemp, Greenwood and Shaw - are all out as is Fujino and Knaak. Zero chance.
 
Shaw and Auba out as well, that's fucked it. Stand ins are a) we don't have one for Shaw, b) she sulked off to Arsenal so don't have one for Auba either. It'll be the kids, that's all we've got or a load of senior midfielders or defenders who aren't good enough.
Those 2 are currently our only 2 goalscorers as well.
Prognosis is they'll miss more than 1 or 2 games too. This seasons been a disaster for injuries. Almost guarentees we lose all 4 against Chelsea and probably the FA Cup quarter final against those red bastards who likely nick our CL spot too. This season can't end soon enough for the men and women. What a sack of shit.
Sadly my predictions that by the time Hemp and Greenwood get back that we'll have nothing to play for look about to come true.

We're fine for cover on the right. Fowler and Park were both being used there ahead of Kelly by the end. And Park was playing there ahead of Kelly for England the other day.

Expect Kerolin and Park to come in for those two. Nobody is a match for a fully fit Bunny but but still, those those two represent decent squad depth.
 
We never seem to get a fair official when we play them domestically, so hoping as tonight is the CL, we finally get a decent official v them

She’s a different player to Bunny but you’re forgetting we have the leagues all time top scorer in the squad ;)
