    Goalkeeper situation summer 25

Ederson has been excellent at times. Maybe not the very best at certain times though. But still very decent as is Ortega. Our system is too easy to defend against and attack. A better shot stopper only papers over this obvious problem. Pep needs to improve or be replaced imo. We have to be...

Will we win the league this season?

Not unless Pep fixes his tactics and we all know that Pep will not fix his tactics.

Match Thread | Manchester City v. Al Hilal (CWC) 01/07/25

Doku needed help. He was very good and couldn't do any more but the same thing happened over and over and over. We'd have went better off forgetting about attacking from the right but put another threat on the left. AitNouri seemed to do it in the first half but faded. Imo Cherki should have...

They were tough opposition. Defended excellently and broke well but our shape was awful, especially once we tired, and we didn't make the most of our attacking options in regular time. But to be fair thus competition is great. Hopefully we'll return in 4 years after loads of success.

We are better off that the ref didn't give the free anyway. We needed a rest or we could have conceded on the break. We are so poor at getting back on the counter.

We still haven't found what we're looking for in terms of more goals.

    President Trump

Corporate America overall remains a fine place to work, either in the US or outside the US. But the lunacy of their current politics seem to be seeping in a bit over the past few years. At least at the top.

Club World Cup - Summer 2025

Pros: 1. No Liverpool 2. Much better quality than I expected 3. A private world cup experience (no nationalist media frenzy of flags and nonesense) 4. Great way to bed in new players and staff. 5. Great exposure for the club as long as we continue to play well Cons: 1. The US is not a place we...

    Al Hilal (N) - Tue 1st July, 02:00 | CWC Last 16| Pre-Match Thread

............Ortega.......... Nunes Dias ...Ake O'Rielly ..........Gonzales......... ......Foden Gundogan.... Cherki Haaland Marmoush I think we'd struggle without Rodri, Rjjjnders and AitNouri but they probably need to rest.

    27 | Matheus Nunes - 2025/26

I like Nunes a lot because he plays wide as a RB but Lewis plays more narrow (like Zinchenko used to). I'd prefer to have another RB option that is similar to O'Reilly on the left, i.e someone tall, built, fast, can defend and can attack. So ideally for me we'd replace Lewis with someone else...

    4 | Tijjani Reijnders - 2025/26

Makes me want to swap out our CBs for guys you can see the runs. TjjjR was making lots to runs as we're many others and yet our 2 CBs can't see them or are not confident enough to make the long passes.

    25 | Manuel Akanji - 2025/26

When we have to reduce the number of foreign players to 17, keeping Akanji seems a disappointment. As always a lovely lad but just not one of our best defender imo.
