    Liverpool Thread - 2021/22

If it hadn't been for the decisions in the game against Leicester, they wouldn't have got this far.

He did the same against Arsenal previously, after about ten minutes and still stayed on the pitch.

So I did remember correctly. I just replied to a post on the later pages and then went back to previous posts and there it is, thanks.

If I remember correctly he got away with the same thing a couple of years ago against Arsenal.

Same thing happened a couple of seasons ago against Arsenal. The same player, in the beginning of the game, elbow to the face of the Arsenal player. Again, play on.

    Arsenal (A) - Post-Match Thread

For all the moaning by Arsenal, they seem to forget they benefitted from the decisions they got in the semi final of the F.A Cup a few years ago at City's expense. They went on to the final and have an F.A Cup as a result. I don't remember the outrage then?

City can have a few penalties waved away most games. The only time a fuss is made is on the odd occasion City get a favourable decision. As for the " rules" we heard all about where F.F.P was concerned, it's telling how the " rules" regarding simulation are ignored, much to the benefit of...

That was a great video, thanks. I have fond memories of David Rocastle. After my dad died , his best friend from childhood took me to see a game and " Rocky" scored a goal just in front of us. My dad's school friend was the reason my dad became a blue and why I love City today.

Is that the one assisted by Carl Griffiths and I think Francis Lee compared it to Puskas?

I remember that. City were going through a bad patch, I think Kare Ingebrigtsen scored. It looked like City were going to win and the game was abandoned.

Just the last tr In just the last three games, from what I can gather by comments on social media, they have benefitted from decisions to the tune of nine points. Imagine that over a season. A foul was ignored against Wolves just before the goal at the end. Also a penalty for a dive and a...

Offside too, which cost City two points and another hundred points season.

    Leeds United (H) - Post-Match Thread

Exactly! The press like nothing more than to stir up trouble for City. It's not surprising, the only surprise is how many still go along with it. Pep Guardiola got the same treatment in the beginning too.

Same with the previous season against Chelsea and Brighton.

I think it happened previously against Brighton and Chelsea too, just waved away.

It happens time and again. Sometimes a few times a game.

Exactly. Same with the yellow cards issued to the opposition once the game is already "over".

    United (A) Post Match Thread

We see it time and again too. City aren't usually allowed penalties unless the game is already decided. This keeps the opposition believing they have a chance along with other decisions for and against. Then some wonder why the opposition always turn up against City but not usually against the...

Recently there were 44 passes. You will probably find it somewhere on social media. I'm sure there is even a version set to the music of Benny Hill.
