I remember watching that fight on a big screen on Deansgate at about 3am on the Sunday morning!

Ipswich away on the Saturday before. 5 of us took a week off work and did them all. Stopped in some dodgy B&B's too iirc lol

We did and the Tuesday night League Cup game was postponed until Wednesday due to a waterlogged pitch. Not many Blues there on the Wednesday and it got a bit tasty on the corner of the ground heading back into Plymouth but they got their come-uppence on the Saturday

I used to sell those too. I can't remember what I got for doing it but I do remember that the area rep that collected the money was the guitarist in the Piccadilly Rats!

That does sound like a hell of a problem. Maybe putting names on tickets and then making a percentage of them collect in person might help?
