Anyone worried?

Hate no, however certainly intrigued in the possibility of change for the better lifestyle if possible more so for my two teenage sons. Have always been interested in living abroad and the outdoor lifestyle.

If you think it’s the right thing for your family then do it. If you think it’s the wrong time for them then don’t.

Wherever you live, it’s the people ultimately that make the difference, particularly for kids. Moving to a better area doesn’t necessarily mean a better life overall.

Suncream and more sunscreen, god knows and Sydney climate seems decent to be fair.
Ha! I've lived in a warmer place than Sydney for 35 years (Queensland) and never had a spider under the toilet seat and nobody has ever told me they had either.
It may happen somewhere outback in an outside dunny though. If you do go out west, always check before sitting down.
And beware those nasty koalas and kangaroos:)

Be aware property is very expensive in Sydney, dearest in Australia.

You have to be sensible with money you have to plan and not be a spendthrift.

I think one thing that helps me be a happier person these days is I don't watch the news, I have really no interest in it and I don't get involved in politics I don't know whose policies are whose anymore because as I say I don't watch the news or read the news.
People argue like fuck in the politics thread, even seem to hate each other at times and really what good does it do them ?

People wake up in the morning and put the TV on to find out what's happening I've never done that I just think there's no need for it and there's always something that will piss you off.
The television for me is for after dinner/tea for a couple of hours to watch a good film or TV series and that's it.

Nah surely most expensive is Karratha or Broken Hill??

When you realise that the news today is just a collection of opinion pieces from people with their own agendas and world narratives it can be a freeing feeling just dumping it all in the garbage where it belongs.

Even the sports pages are ramped with useless failed writers pretending to be journalists.

The lack of social housing & the reliance on private renting is a fucking national disgrace, shameful shit
It is. But there isn’t enough public money around to meet demand. Perhaps we should look at it in a different way. It is crazy that the mortgage companies demand a debt is paid off in 25 years on an asset that has a life of around 150 years. If a mortgage was attached to the property rather than the person it would encourage more building and the monthly payments would be about 1/4 what they are now.

Health, education and a restoration of council house building those three things are the keys to a happy life and future for almost everyone.

A tiny minority would be happy to just live in tiny cold damp and miserable conditions so long as they have someone to share it with.

£12.80 for a single train ticket from Bramhall to Manchester Piccadilly. It was £5 - £7 a few weeks a go. Its cheaper to get an uber into town it there's a couple of you.

Turn over when the [bad]News comes on the tele, hit the three dots and press ‘Not Interested’ when anything political comes up on your social media apps, don’t search online for any newspaper bollocks… concentrate on what really matters and what is really important. If you live in a studio flat or a five bedroom detached house, do it up nicely and keep it tidy so you feel good when you get home, work hard, get up early, don’t waste your life lying in bed, live as much of your life as you can out in the real world, spend time with your friends+family, talk to your neighbours, spend time on your own, go to the seaside, go to the hills, go to the forest, eat well, drink lots of water, get fit… go to the pub, go and watch some live music…

That’s what life is all about, none of the other nonsense. You’ll soon realise the other nonsense doesn’t matter.

People are generally sound, if you don’t like them, surround yourself with better people. Even if you have little, life is what you make it. Don’t wait for someone else to make things better, do it yourself. Learn quickly that nobody else in the world is there to make your life better, the only people who can do that is yourself and those close to you.

Enjoy yourself, it’s later than you think.
