    Favourite player?

Always had soft spots for Goater, Elano, Balotelli and nowadays Erling.

    Spoilt footballers.

Not that big of a deal, they could easily have lined them up either side of the door instead of being around a corner where the players wouldn't have even seen them until late. I doubt they co-ordinated this with Chelsea. They're also in home kits realistically expecting to see the home players...

Match Thread | Manchester City vs. Salford (14/02/26)

I'd bet good money he's been offside more times than Haaland in both city's careers with about 100 less games

    Haaland the great

Fairly mad to think that without any further injuries he'll (likely) be into the top 3 by the end of the season after only 4 seasons, incredible.

    9 | Erling Haaland - 2025/26

But that's because Haaland is big enough to win the header at the back post (and scored loads in this manner), Marmoush doesn't have that luxury so has to attack in a different manner.

Why doesn't City make long throws into the box whenever they can, as other Premier League sides have started to do?

God I hope not - most premier league games are dreadful to watch due to long throws and set pieces, teams take 45 seconds to take them, awful.

    Wolves (H) - Sat 24th Jan, 15:00 | PL | Pre-Match Thread

Although probably think Haaland needs a rest, he also needs a goal. I'd start him personally. I'd rest Foden though.

    Marc Guehi | Signing confirmed

Could easily be Ake CB and NOR LB

    Welcome Donnarumma!

    He does speak English?

Do you have a favourite ever goal?

Not the best but one of my favorite's was Haaland's second v West Ham, first game of the season, big pressure on a new striker, KDB exquisite ball through. Set the tone for our greatest ever season.

    Rodrygo

    Marmoush just isn't a left winger. He's a striker/second striker.

    Savinho | May 2026 - Spurs linked again (p218)

Penalties helped him massively too. They didn't get as many last year.

    11 | Jeremy Doku - 2025/26

Massive frustration of mine currently. Still haven't forgiven him for his 'attempt' last minute of the cup final with his left foot 25 years out. Agree with the comments re his work rate. Has lots of talent and can beat a man but very rarely finds a blue shirt, biggest issue for me though is he...

Pep Ljinders appointed as assistant coach | James French joins as set-piece coach (p15)

Think it's partly down to Ruben & Stones being the central pairing, they know each other well and have always been a good combo.

Hugo Viana | Director of Football

Glad this post has been resurrected, superb day for HV yesterday and can see the quality these new players have. Positive.
